ONET fiber network configuration using a 155Mbps IP backbone. GPW was founded in
1997 to improve education, economic development and other vital aspects of Geor
gia's rural and small communities. GPW offers Internet, Point to Point and high
speed data services.

o Maintained and grew fifteen of the forty two municipal authorities within the
network.
o Effectively marketed solutions and closed business with National and Regional
clients such as Chick-fil-A , Post Properties and Habitat for Humanity.

Prior to its dissolution, Winstar controlled the nation's largest broadband netw
ork for business clients. The network utilized the 38 GHz band and shared access
to other portions of the radio spectrum to reach business customers directly. T
he network had the capacity and redundancy to reach and service more than 200 mi
llion people and 80% of the U.S. business market.
Market Operations Manager
o Controlled all market operations including switching, transport and local dist
ribution over the wireless fiber network.
o Duties included P&L responsibility, network design, network expansion, network
services, sales and network maintenance, customer service, delivery and support
.
o In a three year period, managed the deployment of the Winstar broadband networ
k in Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville. The network included three switches and e
ight (8) distributive hubs with a support network of 156 wireless fiber links re
aching 172 locations with a customer base of 6,500 businesses. Asset value at c
ompletion of construction was $68M.
o Successfully managed a support team of 20 Technicians and Customer Support per
sonnel during an expedited growth curve in order to support this fast growing co
mpany. As a result, Winstar was able to increase monthly billings for network s
ervices in the Atlanta market in excess of $1M.
o Provided Technical Sales support to Fortune 500 customers such as Coca Cola, C
NN, Turner Broadcasting and American Express.

Virtual Resources, Roswell, Ga.


1997-1999
Virtual Resources began as an E-commerce consultant and reseller of data platfor
m networks using NT and Novell that transformed into a pure consulting company o
ffering market research, business plan development and operational platforms for
Fortune 1000 companies.

o Redefined the Business and Marketing Plans for all products and services offer
ed to the E-business and Enterprise network marketplaces.
o Developed and completed a successful market research campaign that identified
the company's target markets and the competitive advantages of all new product l

P-Com is a manufacturer of digital radio products in the 38GHz spectrum band for
telephony applications. Their principal marketplaces are in the US and Western
Europe where the combined annual revenues exceeded $100M.
International Project Manager
o Responsible for International Sales and Contract Support for European based pr
ojects.
o Successfully lead an international team in the sales and support of over 1,800
cellular sites in Germany for Mannesmann Mobilfunk. Procured the necessary prof
essional contractors from Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland in order to com
plete the $22M project on target and under budget.
o Closed the sale and managed the expansion of a cellular network in the UK to O
range Hutchison. This turnkey project ($18M) required the recruiting of in-count
ry personnel to support network expansion, direct sales, contract administration
, strategic planning, logistics, sub-contract coordination, and post sales and e
ngineering support.

D.S.I Technologies, Inc., Fremont, Ca. 1988-1995


DSI Technologies was a third party installation and maintenance corporation foun
ded to support the fast growing cellular and point-to-point microwave radio mark
et places. Highly successful in the early cellular market place, DSI expanded to
encompass private and common carrier companies prior to being acquired.
Business Development Manager
o Co-Founded the company and acquired the necessary venture capital required dur
ing the start-up phase.
o Formulated and implemented the corporation's Business and Marketing Plans for
product releases and service offerings for the initial launch including the adve
rtising medium, collateral and market releases.
o Built sales revenue from zero to over $5.5M in six years closing multiple deal
s spanning upwards of $2.3M to companies such as Kaiser Permanente.
o Lead the joint venture that deployed the voice, video and data network for Jun
eau, Alaska.
o Key Principle in the sale and subsequent construction of a $3.2M voice and vid
eo network used for remote telemedicine applications for Kaiser Permanente Hospi

Avantek, Inc., Fremont, Ca. 1981-1988
Avantek Inc., was the first manufacturer of digital microwave radio products in
the 2GHz frequency band.
A highly successful start up, it quickly expanded into microwave products includ
ing amplifiers, receivers and components. Annual revenues exceeded $100M in its
5th year of operations.
Project Manager
o Designed, integrated and installed the first private Common Carrier network fo
r the State of Hawaii. The integration of voice and data was accomplished using
early TDM technology and resulted in the successful completion of the largest c
ontract awarded to the telecommunications division of Avantek ($3.2M).
o Program Manager for network design and installation for early cellular operati
ons for such companies as Bell South Mobility, Savannah Cellular (Alltel), Unity
Cellular, Pactel Mobile, Rural Cellular and Century Cellular.
o Designed and Installed (turnkey) a nuclear power plant support network for Ark
ansas Power & Light. Network supporting operations from Conway to Blytheville, A
rkansas (Statewide).
