Provided strategic vision and direction to restructure and expand Ascend Billing
Services from a company worth $2M to a company worth $30-$35M in just 3 years.

* Managed the day-to-day operations and provided hands-on team leadership to exc
eed the expectations of a 12-physician Board of Directors.
* Implemented a more efficient, cost effective billing system comprised of sever
al components, including EHR, a claims clearinghouse, ePrescribe, an HL7 interfa
ce, etc.
* Reviewed billing and coding procedures and analyzed trends prior to negotiatin
g insurance contracts; demonstrated value to maximize reimbursement amount while
rigorously upholding compliance standards.
* Created and managed a $1M annual budget and oversaw human resources for up to
70 employees.

xpansion strategy related to the Medaxxis medical billing system. Led 23 Account
Managers nationwide to successfully sell and manage the implementation of Per-S

* Initiated a value-added reseller (VAR) program to increase product exposure; d
eveloped a system of checks and balances, including client surveys, to ensure th
at VAR's were enhancing the product's reputation.
* Recruited and built a strong Account Management Team by providing team members

s were properly trained on their new medical billing software systems.
