"SEABOURN SOJOURN"
Employed by Bieffe Marine S.r.l. , at present I'm acting as outfitting superviso
r of the fitting out onboard the Seabourn's newly second unit, "Seabourn Sojourn
" (Mar 063) - Mariotti Shipyard, Genoa.
My main job is supervising the building of the most prestigious areas of the ves
sel: Owner Suites, Penthouse Suites, Grand Suites, Superior and Disable Suites.
"SEABOURN ODYSSEY"
I have acted as inspector of Gerolamo Scorza S.p.A. onboard the newly built "Se
abourn Odysseys" (Mar 062) - Mariotti Shipyard, Genoa.
My prevailing job is the supervising of the most prestigious areas of the vessel
: Owner Suites, Penthouse Suites, Grand Suites, Superior and Disable Suites.
Relatively to the above areas, guided by Mr. Mininel (Scorza Manager) I have int
erfaced between the Main Contractor and the Shipowner, onboard and in meetings.
Therefore I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Mr. Mike Jones (Carnival C
orporate Shipbuilding - Ship Supervisor), Mr. Rob Thompson (CCS - Building Mana
ger), Arch. Gianluca Campisi (CCS - Outfitting Supervisor) and with Ing. Umberto
Bisagno (Mariotti Shipyard owner)
"SEABOURN ODYSSEY"
I have acted as shipyard responsible/supervisor of Agena Work's Ship S.r.l. (
sub contractor of Gerolamo Scorza S.p.A.) onboard "Seabourn Odysseys" under
construction in the Mariotti Shipyards - Genoa.
My specific job has been the marking out and fixing the base of the 197 crew c
abins.
AIRCRAFT CARRIER "CAVOUR"
I have acted as shipyard responsible/supervisor of Agena Work's Ship S.r.l. (s
ub contractor of Gerolamo Scorza S.p.A.) onboard the Italian Navy Aircraft Carri
er "Cavour" under construction in the Shipyards of Fincantieri - Muggiano (La S
pezia). During the period I have directed the completion of the quartering of
officers and crew as well as of some public areas.
"MOBY OTTA"
Appointed drydock responsible by Agena Work's Ship s.r.l. (sub contractor of Ger
olamo Scorza S.p.A.) on board "Moby Otta" moored in Mariotti Shipyards - Genoa
- Nov. 20/2006 to May 12/2007.
During the period I have directed the realization of cabins destined to both pax
and crew and of an area of armchair of 400 sq.mtrs.
It has been a "refitting" and therefore the area has been reduced to flat deck d
ismantling the existing crew cabins and shop locations.
At the end of the intervention have been realized 18 crew cabins and 112 pax cab
ins out of which 60 sumptously fitted.
In this intervention, in addition to the technical direction, my involvement ha
s been that of primarily the management and organization of the activity on the
spot and solution of the problems created by the pre-existing situation. In this
charge I have had the opportunity of interacting with Mr. Mininel (Manager Scor
za), Ing. Poggi (Director of Mariotti Shipyards) and with the Shipowner represen
ted by Arch. Cirib.
"COSTA ALLEGRA"
In charge as Ship's Inspector/Consultant during the refitting of "Costa Allegra"
- Mariotti Shipyard - Genoa March 19 to April 30/2006.
Immediately before, one week work in the Hotel Technical Office of Costa Crocier
e S.p.A. - During this period I have aquired informations about the works I was
destined to manage, controlled and calculated estimates, redacted Gantt boards i
n collaboration with Ing. Gaetti (Head of Hotel Technical), Ing. Bellucci (resp.
entrustement) and Arch. Cervi&Rossi (Project).
During the works on board I have acted has inspector pax cabins by supervising t
he activity of Ellevi, Savi, Sidermeccanica, Edilsoffitti and Incisioni industri
ali and the contemporary cohordination of the above activity with that of Pozzat
ti and Cein and the ship's crew.
At the end of the foreseen works, I have provided - my own initiative - to the
maintenance and improving of crew and pax cabins; also - in addition to my job
- given some support to the works in the fitness and beauty complex center (SP
A).
I have concluded my intervention with a written report and feed back addressed
to the Shipowner Costa Crociere.
