Radiology Director 1/2008 to 9/2010
Radiology Director responsible for:
Operational budget of $12 million to $15 million dollars with over 200 FTEs.
Reduced the FTE count by over 75 FTE equivalents use while maintaining the same
level of service.
Most reductions in force were accomplished due to analysis and cross-training t
echnologists and routine attrition.
Developed and expanded a five year Strategic Plan while analyzing and collabora
ting with key departments including Nursing, Information Technology, Surgical De
partment, Pharmacy, Emergency Department, and Patient Access.
Radiology Cost Centers under financial control were Bone Density, CT, Diagnosti
c Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET/C
T, Radiology Administration, Radiology Nursing, Radiology Physicians, Ultrasound
, Vascular laboratory
Role was expanded to include the operation and implementation of and adding to t
he financial stability and expansion of the organization. The total cost for all
departments was under budget projections.
