Life, LTC, Medicare advantage, Medicare supplements and Part D subscriptions. Al
lowed real time executive decision making to produce more revenue.
* Interfaced all systems to reduce duplication of data and eliminate non value s
teps in the process.
* Installed portal and marketing websites using SharePoint. Worked on SEO to cap
ture leads for marketing websites. Increased internal communication and reduced
administration costs. Installed Image Now system.
* Developed ITIL, Agile, Process and PMI standards within the customer focused g

Managed a portfolio of over 50 Applications including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, M
aximo, Lawson Financials, Downstream Fabrication and MES plant floor systems. Re
duced costs by elimination of legacy systems and duplicated processes. Implement
ed best practices across the organization along with effective measurements to i
nduce results. Implemented data warehouse to provide competitive advantages to o
perations, sales and accounting. Member of Global Steering committee.
* Responsible for the management and oversight of infrastructure service deliver
y teams to ensure that services were delivered in accordance with established se
rvice levels. Supported over 2500 client desktops, 130 Windows, Linux and HP UN
IX servers, and seventy five remote sites across Canada and the USA in a 24/7 st
eel and downstream operation. Constantly achieved over 99.5 % uptime.

mployee turnover rates were very low. Started offshore programming in India with
positive results. Outsourced infrastructure to Peak 10.

et and $60M Capital 3 year plan. Experience includes Budgeting, Planning, System
Architecture, System Design, Database design, Strategic Roadmap, Security, Qual
ity Assurance, User Acceptance testing, Project Management and Web development.
Implemented failure analysis system in all locations to reduce repetitive produc
tion issues.
* Successfully supported the implementation and ongoing production support of SA
P suites for Procurement, HR and Payroll applications. The Procurement was the
first Gerdau Global project and was implemented in 8 countries. Projects were on
time and within budget. Consistently measured payback during the final project
phases and post implementations.
* Delivered a wireless bar-coding solution that supported all warehousing and in
ventory processes across the clients operations on time and on budget. Eliminate
d various positions that were redundant after technology upgrades. Implemented a
utomated downstream systems for fabrication, epoxy and cold drawn material.
* Consistently delivered on financial expectations and service level agreements.
* Representative for North America on the Gerdau Global IT executive team which
included 8 countries.
