DESCRIPTION
Gorillaz is a band very popular among the younger genera-
tion of music lovers. Inspired by their fanastic animated music
videos, I decided that my solution needs to identify with the
band’s chosen visual style.

The color scheme and visual elements in this piece points

towards their vividly imaginative crazy videos attracting mil-
lions of young audiences the world over..The wild bright colors
along with the diagonal coposition,helps enhance the dramatic
effect of this poster.

DESCRIPTION
The Jungle book by Rudyard Kipling is an all time favourite
read for me. I also have great childhood memories with the
Disney feature, based on the book.

I wanted to show that for an outsider, the jungle is serene with

all its beautiful creatures, but on the inside danger lurks. The
book cover is meant to serve as a trailer for the story, encour-
aging anyone to give it a try.

DESCRIPTION
The Dgd curriculam guide is an approximately 20 page spread
I designed as part of my final print project. The idea was to
create an attractive booklet giving a nice program overview to
a prospective student.

The CMYK bird is conceived to be a symbol for someone at-

taining a free and creative self through a design education.
The theme is carried on throughout the booklet for maximum
impact.

The Charlie chaplin cocktail was created in honour of the great
movie legend himself.

The idea behind this piece was to design an attractive table-

tent which would invoke a nostalgic feeling of the old black and
white movie classics in anybody.

The Sagehill Farmers Market

DESCRIPTION
The sagehill site was a fun and challenging experience. The
objective of the site was to give the urban viewer, a chance
to reconnect with the goodness of nature, to experience the
rich scent of earth and the nostalgia of their grandparents old
farm.

Laying out the content was the trickiest part. The website has
a banner changing in each page, offering something new and
exciting for the viewer. The navigation is consistent, and the
colors are fun !

Sulabh sanskrit is an interactive language learning software
developed by Tetrixs.The software is intended to enable a be-
ginner to grasp basic sanskrit languge and grammer.

Working closely with the client, I designed the interface lay-

outs for the software and planned the animation with the Flash
team,I also designed the mascot which aids in the learning
process.

DESCRIPTION
The oceans are humanities number one source of protein, un-
sustainable overexploitation of the ocean can lead to a global
catastrophe.

The mermaid being a mythical creature, I have tried to address

the issue in a whole different light. The idea was conceived as
a campaign featuring different fantastic ocean creatures, urg-
ing the global consumer to rethink the kind of seafood they buy
and support organisations that promote sustainable fishing.

DESCRIPTION
The design of my personal identity system was harder than I
thought. My aim was to create something which I can identify
with for a long time to come. The process was almost as painful
as to someone deciding their first ever tattoo.

My logo was inspired by my name in my native language

script, Malayalam, which is full of beautiful round letterforms..
The circle being the most complete, and stable shape in the
universe, I believe it points towards the perfection that I want to
achieve as an artist and an induidual.

DESCRIPTION
The logo design for a rollerderby league was a challeging and
fun at the same time. The challenge was to steer clear from
complex emblem style logos with highly detailed illustrations,
common in this industry, while delivering something iconic and
representative to this sport.

The logo shows power, passion, rage, sexiness and energy

synonimous with this sport. The type forms, give the feeling
of being a misfit, with all the typeforms, colliding and pushing
at each other,increasing visual tension, inspired by the sport
itself...But all the text elements are streamlined to show speed,
agility, and teamwork.

The given theme for the wallpaper was “Your Community”.The
idea was to create an image collage in photoshop to recreate
an awesome version of my neighbourhood.

I live in the part of Vancouver well known as “Little India” due to

the abundance of east Indian stores, restaurants, sweet shops.
Hence the area is quite popular with the Indian community to
live, work and shop.

The heart of an issue

DESCRIPTION
Celebrated as the day of independence by India, August 15,
1947 also marked the partition Indian subcontinent into sover-
eign nations of Pakistan and India. The partition resulted in a
violent standoff between the hindu-muslim communites, result-
ing in death and destruction all over the place. Houses were
burnt, women raped and children orphaned. Disheartened by
the violence around him Mahatma Gandhi refused to take part
in the celebrations of victory against the British empire.

The idea of the project was to use typography principles to

express my feelings on this burning issue, that still continues
to cause unrest and war in South Asia.
