JAIPUR
M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2011 – 12 will be held on 17th July, 2011 at
Jaipur.
Out of above 25 seats of Government Nursing College, Jaipur, 10 seats are reserved
for regular, in-service regular eligible employees of Government of Rajasthan. Out of
these 10 seats, 5 seats are reserved for in-service teachers and 5 seats are reserved for
those in Clinical areas of State Government Institutions.
Remaining 15 seats at Government Nursing College, Jaipur, 5 seats at BMCHRC
College of Nursing, Jaipur, 5 seats at JNC, Dhand, Jaipur and 3 seats at Geetanjali
College of Nursing, Udaipur are open for all. The total number of seats and colleges
may increase or decrease as per INC directives.
(b) 16% , 12% , 21 % and 1 % of total seats will be reserved for natural born candidates
of SC, ST, OBC and SBC respectively (not adopted) as notified in the Presidential
Order for the State of Rajasthan. Female candidates will be given reservations as per
Government orders.
(c) 3% seats will be reserved for Physically Handicapped on Horizontal basis in their
respective categories.
(d) Any subsequent order of the Government of Rajasthan regarding reservation and
number of seats will be followed.

IV. All the candidates are required to get his/her recent passport size colored photographs
pasted on Application form duly attested from the Principal of Nursing College last
attended or Director, Medical & Health Service, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur or
any Gazetted Officer failing which his/her admission card will not be released.
V. Physically handicapped candidates are required to enclose a copy of Physical
Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board duly constituted by the Central/State
Government. The valid disability certificate of the candidate from the Medical Board
should not be more than 3 months old from the last date of submission of Application
Forms, i.e., 02-07-2011.

3. OTHER CONDITIONS FOR M.SC. NURSING ENTRANCE
EXAMINATION 2011 - 12
(a) The candidate desirous of taking the M.Sc. Nursing Entrance
Examination must submit his/her application on the prescribed form
complete in all respects along with DD of Rs. 1200/- in favors of
Registrar, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur latest by
5.00 P.M. on 30th June, 2011 in Office of The Convener, M.Sc.
Nursing Entrance Examination 2011 - 12, Rajasthan University
of Health Sciences, Sector-18, Kumbha Marg, Pratap
Nagar, Jaipur. Forms can also be deposited with D.D. of Rs.
1200/- in favors of Registrar, Rajasthan University of
Health Sciences, Jaipur personally during office hours on
working days till 5.00 P.M. on 02-07-2011. RUHS will not be held
responsible for any postal delay.
(b)The candidates shall fill-in-the application form in his/her own
handwriting.
(c) It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he/she
fills in the correct address in the form for sending the admission
card for the examination. The University shall not be held
responsible for any loss in transit due to incorrect address given by
the candidate.
(d) Incomplete application form in any respect shall be
liable for rejection and no correspondence in this
regard shall be entertained thereof.
4. DETAILS OF EXAMINATION
English Letter- 4 -
Number Box will be treated as unfairmeans and may lead to
disqualification. Use of whitener is prohibited for any correction.
(i) In addition to provisions laid down in Ordinance 152 to deal with
cases of unfairmeans during the examination by the University,
such candidates will also be dealt with additionally in pursuance of
the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfairmeans) Act,
1992.

The apex court drew guidelines for the management of all educational
institutions to follow. Among them:
Educational institutions should take anti-ragging measures
right from the time of advertisement for admissions. The prospectus, the
form for admission and/or any other literature issued to aspirants for
admission must clearly mention that ragging is banned in the institution
and anyone indulging in it is likely to be punished appropriately which
may include expulsion from the institution, suspension from the institution
or classes for a limited period or fine with a public apology.
The punishment may also take the shape of (i) withholding scholarships or
other benefits (ii) debarring from representation in events (iii) withholding
results (iv) suspension or expulsion from hostel or mess. If there be any
legislation governing ragging or any provisions in statute/ordinance, it
should be brought to the notice of the students/parents seeking
admissions. A printed leaflet detailing when and to whom a victim may
turn for information, help and guidance for various purposes, keeping in

view the needs of new entrants, along with their addresses and telephone
numbers should be given to fresher at the time of admissions so that they
need not to look to seniors for help in such matters.

11. Attach the Certificate of Work Experience from the
Concerned Employer.
12. Certificate of completion of B.Sc. Nursing Course and
character certificate.
