PLASTIC GEM CLIPS PLASTIC GEM CLIPS

Introduction: In thegrowing economy like ours, office establishments both in public and private
sectors are going up by leaps and bounds to cope with development programmes, stationery items like plastic gem clips have turned to be important and integral part of office stationery. Plastic gem clips are used to hold two or more loose papers together. In every office, there are so many papers inter-related, so some device was needed to hold them together. Gem clips are suitable for this purpose. Now-a-days the the use of paper pins and staples are largely replaced by plastic gem clips. The advantage of plastic gem clips over pins is that it holds the paper without damaging it, while the paper pins cause damage to the paper. The handling of plastic gem clips are easier. Plastic gem clips can be manufactured on cottage scale industry. Due to the increasing number of offices in public, government and private sectors, the plastic gem clips have an enormous demand. Moreover, the raw materials and plant & machinery are easily available indigenously.Uses and Application : Plastic gem clips are widely used as stationery item to hold two or more loose papers together.Market Survey : Plastic gem clips find profound use in our daily life. They are extensively used in offices, shops, factories, books shops, schools and by individuals. This product is used practically in every office, industrial and business establishment. Due to the advanced national development programmes, these establishments are increased day by day. The product can be supplied to these establishments directly or through stationery item dealers. If supplied directly to these establishments by instensive sales efforts, there can be good demand, as the sale prices to those establishments will be cheaper than the price at which they will purchase from dealers. For supplying products through government, one should approach to DGS&D, New Delhi. This organisation is engaged in purchasing these items for government supply. The mode of payment is also mifeh better than others. They will pay 98% of payment after receiving the goods and the remaining 2% after inspection of the product. Raw Material Required: Polythene, P.V.C., phenol formaldehyde, epoxy polymers, etc.

Hiring numbers to move up from June 2011, says Naukri report

The hiring sentiment for industries across all sectors is expected to peak in 2011. It is set to break all previous levels attained in the creation of jobs. But the Naukri job Speak index for April 2011 of 1062 is marginally short compared to the March 2011 index of 1085. This fall is due to the ongoing appraisal season where hiring activity is put on hold by most organisation. Hitesh Oberoi, CEO and MD, Info Edge India said, Hiring tends do slow down a little in Q1 every year because of the appraisal cycle. We except hiring to pick up again by June/July this year. But one sector that is reaching or even surpassing expected levels of hiring is the construction and Engineering sector. It has been clocking impressive growth figures for the past few months and finally touched a peak of 830 in April 2011. These figures are the best since July 2008 that the sector has witnessed. This is the sector that was pounded by the recession and is now inching back to normalcy. The industry pundits had predicted that hiring in this sector would show good figures in the first half of 2011.BPOs touch new low : An in-depth analysis of the indices shows that all the top industry sectors have witnessed minor dips in their hiring activity. Industry sectors like Auto, Banking, Oil and Telecom had their indices dipping by two percent respectively in April 2011 compared to March 2011 while the BPO sector saw a 16 percent dip in the hiring activity compared to the last month. The Construction and Engineering sector witnessed maximum movement in the employment front both monthly as well annually as the index moved up by 9 percent in April 2011 compared to the previous month. And it was 13 percent above in April 2011 compared to last years figures. Only IT and Capital Goods sectors maintained steady hiring levels over the month. Hot Jobs: Production and Project management professionals were the most sought after in the hiring scenario. The index for people with these skill sets moved up by four percent compared to March 2011. The demand for professionals in HR, Accounts, Sales, and Software Development was steady. There is a dip in hiring activity even across all experience brackets, except for the 8-12 and over 16 years experience levels where the index remained steady. Hiring for the 0-3 years and 4-7 years experience levels dipped by four percent and two percent respectively in April 2011 compared to the previous month.Citywise: Most cities experience a lull in hiring activity in April 2011. Among the metros, only Mumbai maintained steady hiring levels. Delhi and Hyderabad witnessed dips of two percent over the previous month. Bengaluru and Chennai saw a huge negative swing of 15 percent and 12 percent respectively to march 2011. However the three month moving average indicies for these cities maintained steady hiring levels. Overall, the index looks to have stabilised at an elevated level with minor seasonal dips. Naukri Job Speak index for April 2011 is at 1062 which is four percent above that of April 2010 levels. Seasonal dips are a fact of hiring. There are always low periods of hiring due to various reasons such as appraisals or even festival holidays. But the overall expectation of the HR managers is that the hiring activity will touch an all time new peak starting June 2011 across all industry sectors. K.V.RAJSEKHER faqs@cnkonline.com
