THIS WEEKS COMMENT

Last Sunday, Ps Ray mentioned wanting to see healings and miracles taking place in our midst. This excited me as I have just finished reading a book about the Azusa St revival and miracles that took place back in 1906 1910. For over 3 years, God performed miracles after miracles & healings after healings, as people entered into His Holy Presence. Heaven truly came down & thousands who came into His Presence experienced His Glory. The blind could see, the deaf could hear, arms & legs grew where they were missing, and bones were popping everywhere, as they were healed. This power is available to anyone willing to surrender to the Spirit that dwells within. We need to have another look at 2Chronicles 7v14 (Its time to take action.) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves & pray & seek my face, & turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven & will forgive their sin & heal their land. Here are 5 characteristics of the Azusa St revival, (1) HUMILITY is Gods way. (2) OBEDIENCE was obvious. They sought His face & lived in obedience to Gods commandment to love one another and to love God with all their hearts. (3) PRAYER was vital to Gods visitation. (4) PURITY is mandatory within the presence of God. Purity manifests LOVE that is the environment in which God chooses to dwell. (5) EXPECTATIONS were high. Men & women believed in their prayers as they prayed in one accord, believing God would hear their prayers who in purity of heart & thought, totally surrendered to His Lordship. They prayed without ceasing & without doubt that soon they would experience the desires of their hearts. What is your hearts desire???? I know I want to experience His Shekinah Glory in our midst & see his Mighty Spirit fall on us and see revival and miracles. YES! HERE IN MARYBOROUGH!
