Background: Alexander Goldmoon was orphaned at the age of eight. His parents were stationed at a small remote outpost that could note be contacted remotely in the remaining lifetime of their child. For this reason the Administratum of Gunmetal City in Sintilla enrolled him in the Schola Progena. While Alexander was not the child of great heroes of the Imperium he was a child of learning. His ambition to know the things of the universe caught the attention of a sub-culture in the Schola Progena. You could very well call them a cult of knowledge and secrets. As it turns out they venerated Razi the Secret Keeper as their tutor in the profane and most interesting subjects in the universe. Alexander was inducted into the secret society that was the Blighted Schola at the age of ten. He regarded the knowledge he gained as interesting and cutting edge in thought and practice. It took very little to satisfy his interested in the things man should never know or attempt to understand. In time as he developed in his studies he started to become entangled with the deeper echelons of the Blighted Schola. His mastery in context of a number of forbidden lore made him rise to a station of authority within the Blighted Schola by the time he was to graduate from the Schola Progena. Alexander is still not sure when it happened but some how a visiting Throne Agent discovered the Blighted Schola and the purging began in full swing. A full-scalewitch-hunt was underway at the Schola Progena.

When the time came and he was discovered by the agents of the Inquisition he was deemed as a worthy resource by the Throne Agent in charge and spared on the condition that Alexander would repent for his heresy of knowing things he should not. The payment for his life was the execution of the rest of the Blighted Schola and permanent service to the Inquisition. After the purging of the Gunmetal City Blighted Schola Alexander Goldmoon serves as a bonded servant to the Inquisition and spends the rest of his life while in service of the Inquisition working to edify the works of the God-Emperor as a pilgrim and cleric of the Imperial Creed.
