I. Application procedure
Eligibility requirements 2. The RDEC may accept foreign-nationality interns who meet the following requirements and conditions: (a) Applicant is enrolled in a graduate school degree program at the time of application and during the internship. (b) Applicant is fluent in English. Internship period 3. During the summer, usually from July 1 to August 31. (Applicants may apply to extend the period of their internship for one month if necessary.) Required documents 4. Applying students who meet the eligibility requirements for an internship with the RDEC must submit a passport copy and internship application form (Annex 1), attached to this circular (more information is available online at www.rdec.gov.tw/intern.html). Applicants must also submit a copy of their most recent curriculum vitae (CV) and a short essay (150-250 words) explaining the reasons they are seeking an internship with the RDEC. Submission of application 5. Applications should be forwarded by e-mail only (intern@rdec.gov.tw) no earlier than four months, and no later than two months, prior to the desired internship period. III. Evaluation
10. At the end of the internship, the advisor will prepare a written evaluation of the interns performance and organize a meeting with them to provide constructive feedback.
