The formulation of this research are: 1) Is there any influence of the approach of
the Islamic Religious Education teacher in a rational, emotive manner on student
delinquency at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau? 2) Is there any influence of the
approach of the Islamic Religious Education teacher in a rational, emotive manner
on the religious obedience of students at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau? and 3) Is
there any influence of the approach of the Islamic Religious Education teacher in
a rational, emotive manner towards the delinquency and religious obedience of
students at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau?. This type of research is survey
research. Collecting data in research using a questionnaire or questionnaire. This
study concludes that : 1) There is an influence of the rational, emotive (X)
approach of the Islamic religious education teacher on student delinquency (Y 1) in
SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. This can be seen from the results of data regression
analysis on variable X with variable Y1 obtained by the value of tcount> ttable, namely
tcount 4,929> ttable 2,069 with a coefficient of determination r 2 = 0.514089 which
contributes 51.41% to student delinquency, 2) There is an influence of the
rational, emotive (X) approach of the Islamic religious education teacher on
students' religious obedience (Y2) at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. This can be
seen from the results of data regression analysis on variable X with variable Y 2
obtained by the value of tcount> ttable, namely tcount 4.094> ttable 2.069 with a
coefficient of determination r2 = 0.421701 which contributes 42.2% to students'
religious obedience, and 3) There is an influence of the rational emotive (X)
approach of the Islamic religious education teacher on delinquency (Y1) and
student religious obedience (Y2) in SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. This can be seen
from the results of data regression analysis on variable X with variable Y 1Y2, the
value of tcount> ttable is tcount 5,410> ttable 2,069 with a coefficient of determination r2
= 0.378225 which contributes 37.9% to delinquency (Y 1) and religious obedience.
