MDOP (VANDALISM) 11-27299

On 6/13/2011 Ypsilanti Twp deputies responded to the 7000 block of Mission Hills Dr for the complaint of vandalism. The victim told deputies their vehicle was spray painted and sugar was placed in the gas tank. The victim was unable to provide a time frame for the incidentthe incident was reported at 3:00PM on 6/13/2011. The investigators have developed possible suspect information. The incident remains under investigation.

ATTEMPTED CAR JACKING (Vehicle Theft)

On 6/14/2011, at approximately 8:30AM deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp were called to a service station at Clark Rd and Prospect Rd for an attempted carjacking. The victim told deputies a male subject approached their vehicle while they were getting fuel. The suspect attempted to get into the victims vehicle and drive away. The victim forced the suspect from the vehicleat which time, the suspect fled the area. Area patrol deputies responded to the area of the incident and arrested the suspect a short while later. The victim was uninjured and all property was retained. The investigators report will be forwarded to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-27224 On 6/13/2011, at approximately 2:00AM, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject in the 3000 block of East Michigan Ave. Deputies were in the area conducting an investigation the subject was identified and taken into custody without incident. 11-27362 Deputies assigned to the Community Policing Team in Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject on 6/13/2011, at approximately 9:15PM. The deputies were conducting proactive neighborhood patrol when they encountered the wanted individual. After identifying the person, the wanted subject was taken into custody without incident.
