This will provide a very useful insight into a CBE.
What happens on day of a CBE? -Firstly you must be registered with ACCA -You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam session -Produce your ACCA registration number -Produce valid and current identification (e.g. passport/driving licence) -You would then attempt your CBE. Questions are displayed on a monitor and answers are entered directly onto a PC -On completion of the CBE answers are marked by the computer automatically -The result is then displayed on screen -After the exam has been marked, CBE licence centres provide each candidate with a results notification printout confirming the result achieved -The CBE licensed centre uploads the results to ACCA system immediately after the end of the CBE. ACCA updates the student records after 72 hours.
In each of the six-monthly cycles, students will be able to sit a maximum of four exams by paper based or CBE method. These dual sessions are in line with the exemption closing dates: 31 January for June exams 31 July for December exams
