The July Meeting of the Raleigh Association of Insurance Professionals will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at the IIANC building, 101 Weston Oaks Court in Cary. Social time is at 5:30 with banquet beginning at 6:00. This meeting is very important because it is our annual planning meeting for the 2010-2011 year. Come and enjoy fellowship and a great meeting. Bring your good ideas and your ideas that you would like to do with our association. Hope to see you there and bring a guest!

PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

I hope that everyone has had a terrific summer so far. It is hard to believe that is time for me to take the helm of RAIP. I am hoping for a fantastic year with lots of growth in membership. Thanks to Katy Willett for organizing and coordinating our Associates night June 8, 2010 at Ragazzis in Cary. Kelley Erstine CEO of IIANC was our key note speaker. He enlightened us on upcoming insurance issues and possible future legislation to be aware of. Recipient of this years Member of the Year was Jeanne Hess of IIANC. Recipient of Associate of the Year was Kelley Erstine, CEO of IIANC. Congratulations to both Jeanne and Kelley! Tuesday I hope to have an in-depth planning session to chart the year. Bring your ideas, think about what direction you think RAIP needs to move in, think about what committee you might want to serve on, and think about who you can invite to our membership picnic in September bring names and addresses. Also, I would e-mail John McCullough at NAIW for a copy of your form. membership@naiw.org It is very convenient to print off and turn in if you have your expenses paid.
