The Club
Situated in Kibworth Beauchamp, South Leicestershire (just off the A6) this private members club celebrated its Centenary Year in
2004.
Kibworth Golf Club boasts a picturesque parkland course in the heart of Leicestershire countryside.
An 18 hole, par 71 course of 6,354 yards with mature tree lined fairways and a meandering stream crossing seven of the holes, the
course will provide a challenging but fair test for golfers of all abilities.

The course is laid out in two loops of nine, each terminating at the clubhouse, which makes it ideal for a members wanting to just
play a quick nine or visiting societies wishing to play a friendly Texas Scramble in the morning before a more competitive 18 in the
afternoon.
Practice facilities include a 300 yard grass driving range, with some covered bays, a course standard, bunkered, chipping green and
for the less energetic, a putting green adjacent to the clubhouse lounge bar.
The clubhouse lounge enjoys views across the course. Serving excellent food and drink all day long, it's the ideal place to relax and
enjoy the company of friends old and new.
Proud of its reputation as a friendly club, Kibworth welcomes visitors and visiting societies throughout the year.

1 - Hole 1

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 10

Championship - 323 Medal - 323 Regular - 312 C'ship Ladies - 300 Ladies & Juniors - 300

Gentle opening par 4. Placement off the tee shot a priority

2 - Hole 2

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 6

Championship - 382 Medal - 382 Regular - 371 C'ship Ladies - 325 Ladies & Juniors - 325

A very good par 4. Need to place your tee shot on the right half of the fairway to open the second shot to the green.
A stream runs across the fairway at approx. 250 yards.

3 - Hole 3

Par 3 Par 3 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 14

Championship - 172 Medal - 172 Regular - 163 C'ship Ladies - 160 Ladies & Juniors - 160

Great par 3. Be careful of the bunkers.

4 - Hole 4

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 2

Championship - 406 Medal - 406 Regular - 388 C'ship Ladies - 368 Ladies & Juniors - 368

Great par 4. The perfect drive would be a draw shape as the need to
be on the left half of the fairway will make the second shot.

5 - Hole 5

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 8

Championship - 402 Medal - 402 Regular - 389 C'ship Ladies - 375 Ladies & Juniors - 375

Sharp dog left par 4. Lay up to the marker post requires a tee shot of
approx. 200 yards. For the most adventurous, the corner can be cut
over the trees. A great risk/reward par 4.

6 - Hole 6

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 16

Championship - 341 Medal - 341 Regular - 331 C'ship Ladies - 263 Ladies & Juniors - 263

Again another tremendous short par 4. The importance of this hole is definitely to hit the fairway. The green is
cleverly protected by 2 willow trees. A unique feature of this hole is that there are no bunkers!
7 - Hole 7

Par 5 Par 5 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 18

Championship - 483 Medal - 483 Regular - 464 C'ship Ladies - 444 Ladies & Juniors - 444

Great par 5. Not very difficult if played as designed. For the bigger
hitter, the risk comes in when trying to cut the corner. A definite birdie
opportunity though.

8 - Hole 8

Par 5 Par 5 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 4

Championship - 519 Medal - 519 Regular - 503 C'ship Ladies - 431 Ladies & Juniors - 431

Another very good par 5. After a good drive, a choice needs to be

made. Strategically placed fairway bunkers that run diagonally across
the fairway will dictate whether you lay up or have a go.

9 - Hole 9

Par 3 Par 3 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 12

Championship - 150 Medal - 150 Regular - 134 C'ship Ladies - 126 Ladies & Juniors - 126

A short but tricky par 3. The hole always plays about 1/2 a club longer
than it looks.
10 - Hole 10

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 9

Championship - 412 Medal - 412 Regular - 401 C'ship Ladies - 374 Ladies & Juniors - 374

A very good long par 4 that begins a very difficult stretch of holes. The
drive must be kept up the left half of the fairway to make the second
shot easier. The green is protected both front left and right by
bunkers.

11 - Hole 11

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 3

Championship - 422 Medal - 422 Regular - 385 C'ship Ladies - 366 Ladies & Juniors - 366

A great hole. Precision is required on both the tee shot and second
shot. Par here is a great score.

12 - Hole 12

Par 3 Par 3 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 15

Championship - 215 Medal - 215 Regular - 210 C'ship Ladies - 166 Ladies & Juniors - 166

Very long par 3. The green slopes from front left to back right so aim
your tee shot for the front left corner of the green.
13 - Hole 13

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 17

Championship - 310 Medal - 310 Regular - 300 C'ship Ladies - 290 Ladies & Juniors - 290

A great short par 4. A stream runs across the fairway at approx. 250
yards so a definite lay up hole off the tee. Be very careful of the 2
bunkers guarding the front of the green.

14 - Hole 14

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 7

Championship - 357 Medal - 357 Regular - 341 C'ship Ladies - 336 Ladies & Juniors - 336

Another great par 4, innocent looking but with clever fairway bunkers.
A drive towards the right hand bunker will leave the ideal second shot.

15 - Hole 15

Par 3 Par 3 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 13

Championship - 136 Medal - 136 Regular - 127 C'ship Ladies - 121 Ladies & Juniors - 121

A tremendous short par 3. Clubbing is always tricky but once on the

green, a great chance for a 2.
16 - Hole 16

Par 4 Par 5 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 1

Championship - 444 Medal - 444 Regular - 431 C'ship Ladies - 438 Ladies & Juniors - 438

The most difficult hole on the course. A long par 4. The tee shot must
be placed on the left half of the fairway to make the second shot
easier. Beware of the water hazard short right of the green. Par is
always a great score on the hole.

17 - Hole 17

Par 4 Par 4 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 5

Championship - 371 Medal - 371 Regular - 363 C'ship Ladies - 350 Ladies & Juniors - 350

The turn for the clubhouse has begun. Another very good par 4. A straight drive here is a must.

18 - Hole 18

Par 5 Par 5 - (Ladies & Juniors) Stroke Index 11

Championship - 508 Medal - 508 Regular - 500 C'ship Ladies - 406 Ladies & Juniors - 406

Par 5. A choice needs to be made here as the stream runs across the
fairway. Due to the prevailing wind, most lay up and therefore play the
hole in 3 shots. The bigger hitters generally have an advantage as the
hole is reachable in 2.
