This matrix of claims are those which received a positive opinion by EFSA, but not yet adopted by Member States. The allocation is subjective, and should only be shown to customers as an example of what health claims could be possible for our ingredients under each of our health benefit areas. Customers should consult their own regulatory support and authorities for specific wording on claims and legal suitability in their countries.

Notes
These slides are for internal review and partial sharing with customers. Please do not send this entire presentation to customers, but rather use relevant slides in your presentations about the specific health benefits of interest. These slides are not complete, and will be further updated as more health claim assessments are published by EFSA and more DNP Health Benefit Platforms brochures are ready. The allocation of health claims into DSMs health benefit areas is just based on opinion and best fit. Check the list first and its fit with the health concept in mind before discussing it with customers. Please note that although those cited claims fall under the health benefit this does not mean that the health benefits can be named in all cases. For example: blood pressure and DHA is surely a benefit under "heart health" but if heart health is not mentioned in the proposed claim, it cannot be claimed (or at least we should not recommend it).
