Kalaripayattu originates from the southern Indian state of Kerala and is often considered to be the father of all martial arts. It enables one to achieve flexibility, agility, to control ones energy and shape ones spiritual attitude.

The corporeal mime is a technique created at the beginning of the 20th century by the French actor and teacher tienne Decroux. Through analysis and examination of movement, it allows the practitioner to acquire the full consciousness of his/her body, as well as the control of his/her presence on stage.

Within the frame of its program Lavauzelle anne zro, le Site de pratiques thtrales also invites you to two encounters: - On the 2nd August, at 20, at LaMtive, Moutier dAhun, for a lecture-demonstration on kalaripayattu (length: 90 min. ; free admission) - On the 5th August, from 18, at Lavauzelle (commune of Janaillat), for an evening of presentation and support, including a kalaripayattu demonstration, a presentation of the performance Marie, as well as a presentation of the Site and its projects. (obligatory membership: 5 euros).
