Goal
To learn about eFolios and how they can be used actively in the learning process to contribute to: student achievement the home/school partnership
Specific
Become familiar with WORDPRESS eFolio platform What is my plan for eFolios what will students be required to post and how often? How do I intend to use my eFolio to support and scaffold students? How will I manage these 6 students and their eFolios? What modelling will I need to do? Students to have the skills necessary to use their eFolios independently How am I going to inform and involve whanau? Reflecting often Where am I at with the big picture? By the end of the year I want to have trialled 6 eFolios and be ready to share with staff and BOT with a view to leading the development in the school in 2012.

1. Set up gmail for class and create WordPress blogs for 6 students (using gmail hack) Spend time on WordPress familiarisation (self, modelling, student unique setup and privacy settings) Provide explanations and scaffolds to ensure students have a clear understanding of the purpose for eFolios
