Marriott Rewards reimbursement rates are reviewed and updated on an annual basis for each property. The following provides the key dates for your 2010 Marriott Rewards standard reimbursement rates and the subsequent activities conducted on your behalf. The new reimbursement rate reflects the amount reimbursed for awards on point redemption reservations occurring on nights when the hotel has occupancy of less than 96%. Rates are calculated based on a combination of a standard cost rate, as well as RevPAR and Marriott Rewards redeemed and paid roomnights for 13 rolling periods. A more detailed explanation of reimbursement calculations can be found on MGS. The PointSavers rate is based upon the blended rate and calculated as 75% of the blended rate or your cost rate, whichever is higher. PointSavers awards are reimbursed at this PointSavers rate regardless of daily occupancy.

Week of December 28, 2009 MRW5 Report Available

Marriott Rewards standard reimbursement rate calculations for 2010 will be available on the propertys MRW5 report in MRDW. To access your MRW5 report: Access MRDW on MGS Select Customer Select Marriott Rewards Please note that blended rate calculations begin in December at the end of Period 12 and will not be available until the MRW5 report is updated on December 24.

Monday, January 4, 2010 System & Reservation Updates

All standard room reimbursement rates for both Regular Awards and PointSavers Awards will be automatically updated in the following systems for all properties: MarRFP rate updates for standard room(s) for both Regular and PointSavers Awards MARSHA rate program updates for standard room(s) for both Regular and PointSavers Awards, including international hotels that do not quote in U.S. dollar
Future Reservation updates will begin for all standard room(s) redemptions for both

Regular and PointSavers Awards, updating them with your new blended rate.

Please Note: the reservation update process for all 3,100 hotels will begin on Monday, January 4, 2010, but may take a few days to complete all reservation updates

Review your 2010 MRW5 report starting the week of December 28, 2009 Ensure awareness of your new 2010 reimbursement rate to appropriate individuals Access MarRFP to update rates for any Upgrade Redemption (using points) based upon your new 2010 blended rate
