Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design, A.P.I.E.D., sponsored by the Parisar Trust and Charutar Vidya Mandal(Gujarat) was established in 1980 and is devoted to the cause of design education in various branches of learning particularly in the professional field. A.P.I.E.D. is located within the serene and congenial educational environment of Vallabh Vidyanagar. Our Late Founder Director, Shri.Suryakant Patel had envisioned a campus set within nature consisting of a building oriented around two courtyards providing a conducive environment for learning and interaction.

We as an Institute recognize the urgent need for a trained professionals in the discipline of interior design, space planning and furniture design. In the current economic scenario of India, where it is envisaged that with multinational companies setting base and emerging consciousness amongst people for brand image, the role of an Interior Designer is consistently being challenged.

Admission Qualification And Eligibility The admission to B.I.D. programme is through SIDET- the Entrance Test with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent in any stream. Students with Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from a recognized Institute / University may be considered for admission at appropriate level depending upon the credits cleared by them. Candidates seeking Higher Level Admissions shall have to appear for tests prescribed by APIED Admission Committee along with their Transcripts & Portfolios of work done at the Institute he / she is coming from.

Application form will be available on payment of Rs. 550=00 Cash or Demand Draft in favour of Institute of Environmental Design, payable at Vallabh Vidhyanagar.

MASTERS OF INTERIOR DESIGN - Admission Qualification And Eligibility

B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture (at par with Degree) approved by the Council of Architecture or its equivalent, from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks OR Three years Bachelor in Interior Design or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks and an Office Training of Six months. Admission to M.I.D. shall be conducted on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview at A.P.I.E.D. Application form will be available on payment of Rs. 200=00 Cash or Demand Draft in favour of Institute Of Environmental Design, payable at Vallabh Vidhyanagar.
