INTRODUCTION

Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education). Higher education includes teaching, research and social services activities of universities. In most developed countries a high proportion of the population (up to 50%) now enters higher education at some time in their lives. Higher education is therefore very important to national economies, both as a significant industry in its own right, and as a source of trained and educated personnel for the rest of the economy. An organization is social structure which allocates costs and benefits, both symbolic and substantial. Because Organization Theory is an independent discipline with its own history, it treats organizations in a different way from what we have done with our images of the school as temple, factory and town meeting (Complex Organizations (Glenville, IL: Scott Foresman, 1979)). Organization is the key to using time wisely. Without organization, it's hard to remember which assignments are due when and what is supposed to be done that day (http://www.ehow.com/way_5166545_school-organization-tips-students.html). There is a strong tendency in human society for the unorganized group to develop organization and for organizations to develop even where there has been no consciousness of a group previously, in which case the organization itself creates the group it expresses and embodies. This is why this report will show how second year students make use of their time and how their time management will cost them to enter or joined school organization as an extracurricular activity as part of their growth while in studying. As a sophomore student, this would be the start of hectic schedules of a college student.
