Responsibilities as as Quantity Surveyor

Aug.1999 to 2002 SAARCO Position: Surveyor of Highways & Bridges Preparation of EPCs (Escalation). Such as Steel Calculation, Cement Calculation. Fuel, Labor and Bitumen Calculations as per Contract Clause-70. Prepare the Variation Orders as per Contract Clause-50. Preparation of shop drawing of Structure like Retaining/Breast walls, Culverts, Bridges and Building with Auto Cad. Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule. Preparation of Working Schedule and Claim for Extension of Time (EOT). Quantity takeoff from Drawings such as Earth Work, Sub Base, Base Course, Black Top, Stone Masonry/Rcc Retaining/Breast walls, Culverts, Bridges and etc. Quantity takeoff from Drawings such as Load bearing RCC Structures Turbo Compressors,Vessels,Cellos,Coolers & Column Foundations Preparation of Volume sheet of Quantity takeoff from Construction Drawings. Download daily surveying data from total station to PC (into SDR format) Providing data to design team for producing drawings and as-built drawings. Worked Out design Surveys of Highways & Bridges (Topography, Alignment & Construction Surveys). Worked Out Construction Surveys of Highways & Bridges Traversing for H/ways by means of a Total Station. In hilly & plane areas.
