1. INTRODUCTION
The Equipment is used for testing the transference of color from the surface of one material to another by either wet or dry rubbing As Per AATCC Standards. Specimens are rubbed with dry, standard cotton cloth (Crocking cloth) and again, if applicable, with wet cloth. The staining of the crocking cloths is assessed with a AATCC Grey Scale.

EQUIPMENT

Paramount CrockMETER II main unit is made of mild steel with a reciprocating arm having 1032mm traverse length & 16 mm finger. Specially designed 9 N load is exerted on the finger to meet the specification of American buyers Mechanical resettable revolution counter for measuring accurate revolution as per standards. Metal finger clips are supplied with the equipment for proper gripping of the crock square. The equipment is meticulously finished in metallic blue paint for gorgeous look.

Specially made as per AATCC standard to determine the Colour Fastness of Textiles to Dry or Wet Rubbing. Ergonomic design which meets AATCC specifications. Steel Sample Holder for rapid sample mounting. Mechanical type, re-settable Counter. Light in weight for mobility. Complete with all accessories including 1000 crocking clothes of AATCC, 16mm finger and finger clips, blotting papers etc. Supplied with calibration & inspection certificates.
