ACTIVITY INFORMATION
11-31463 (HOME INVASION) Deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 2000 block of Ellsworth Rd for an in-progress burglary on 7/5/2011, at about 1:30AM. Deputies arrived and interviewed the victim, who was home at the time of the incident. The victim told deputies that they heard a suspicious noise inside of their home in the early morning hours of 7/5/2011. When the victim investigated the noise, they discovered a male subject inside. The suspect fled out of the house once the resident saw them. Deputies later determined the suspect stole a vehicle that was parked inside of the garage. Investigators have determined the suspect entered the home through the garage, via a pedestrian door. A suspect was arrested for being in possession of this vehicle on 7/6/2011, at about 2:30AM. This continues to be an active investigation. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review. Stolen & Recovered Property: 1986 white 2door Chevy Corvette with 2 maroon pin stripes around it

11-31486 (HOME INVASION) Superior Twp deputies were called to the 8000 block of MacArthur Blvd on 7/5/2011 for a residential burglary. The burglary occurred sometime between 7/4/2011 and 7/5/2011the investigators are still attempting to determine the precise time when the incident occurred. The victim told deputies that a laptop PC was stolen from inside of the home. Investigators determined the suspect entered the home by cutting a screen on a ground floor window. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. This continues to be an active investigation.

11-31683 (BURGLARY) Deputies assigned to Superior Twp were called to the campus of St. Joseph Hospital on 7/6/2011 for burglary to a tool shed. Hospital staff informed deputies that a tool shed had been broken into sometime during the past few days. Multiple items were stolen from within. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. This continues to be an active investigation. Stolen Property: 2 Dewalt hammer drills 1 Porter-Cable hammer drill 2 Dewalt belt sanders 1 Milwaukee circular saw 1 Milwaukee reciprocating saw 1 Porter-Cable cordless drill 1 Porter-Cable cordless circular saw 1 Dewalt grinder 1 chainsaw

ARREST INFORMATION
11-31455 (HOME INVASION ARRESTS) On 7/5/2011, at about 1:00AM, Sheriffs Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp responded to the 7000 block of Lochmoor Dr for an in-progress burglary. Deputies arrived on scene and apprehended two (2) suspects who were still at the scene. Deputies determined both subjects were in possession of items stolen from a residence. After the subjects were identified, both were transported to the county jail without incident. All stolen property was recovered. Additional details are still being investigated by deputies. A copy of the police report was sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-31557 (HOME INVASION ARREST) On 7/5/2011, at about 5:00PM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested a subject for burglary in the 2000 block of Harmon St. Deputies were called to the residence for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival the deputies discovered a burglary had just occurred. During their investigation, deputies interviewed witnesses who provided suspect information. Investigators were able to locate the suspect in the immediate areathe suspect was apprehended without incident. No property was reported stolen. The suspect was lodged at the county jail pending authorization of requested charges (Home Invasion). A copy of the police report was sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-31769 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST) Deputies assigned to Countywide Patrol arrested a suspect drunk driver on 7/6/2011, at approximately 7:00PM. Deputies were called to the 17000 block of Sharon Valley Rd, Sharon Twp, to investigate a single vehicle crash. During the investigation deputies determined the motorists had been operating their vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Sobriety tasks were conducted at the scene. Preliminary information indicates the suspect was operating a motor vehicle at over two (2) times the legal limit for alcohol consumption. The suspect was lodged at the county jail. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.

11-31800 (WARRANT ARREST/POSSESSION OF CRACK COCAINE) On 7/6/2011, at approximately 10:45PM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested a subject for possession of crack cocaine in the area of Andrew St and Heather Ridge Ave. Deputies observed a vehicle make a traffic violation, which led to the contact. As deputies were attempting to stop the motor vehicle the suspect stopped his vehicle, and then fled on foot. Area deputies responded to the area and the suspect was apprehended a short while later. Investigators learned the suspect fled because he was aware of outstanding arrest warrants. The crack cocaine was discovered on the suspects person at the time of arrest. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutors Office for review.
