AXA Protection Portfolio Project - AURA @ POS AXA UK Bristol, United Kingdom Life Insurance and Protection TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) October 2008 June 2009 The AXA Protection Account proposition went live in November 2004 delivering quote and application platforms for advisers for Life Cover, Critical Illness, Life or Earlier Critical Illness, Income Protection via the Advisers Extranet, Offline and portals. Though electronic application data was automatically populated into the back office systems (AURA (expert underwriting system) and ALIS (product engine)) on completion of the application. The underwriting decision was not available at Point of sale AURA @ POS: This project integrates the AURA underwriting system with the existing Advisers Extranet site and the e-Connected offline system, making the AURA underwriting session part of the application procedure. This will allow an agent to perform an interactive underwriting session with the applicant(s) and achieve an underwriting decision immediately at point of sale.

They are also involved in IT relating to Libra Initiatives. The IT initiatives are either to remove or improve cost effectiveness and efficiency. Tandem Manual Reviews: This project aims to close the Compliance Concern 374 and the breech of TCF. The compliance concern 374 was raised due to the failure to send Annual Pension Statements to customers for the pension products.
