The program The U.S. Attorneys Office: Policies and Strategic Priorities will begin at 7:45 AM and conclude no later than 9:00AM. Other special guests include: Honorable Richard Roper, Former US Attorney, current Co-Chair of the North Texas Crime Commission; Honorable David Dean, Former Texas Secretary of State, current Co-Chair of the North Texas Crime Commission and Chairman of the National Crime Prevention Council in Washington D.C.; Sarah Saldana, Presidentially Nominated United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas-pending Senate Confirmation; Honorable Jim Rolfe, Former US Attorney; James Capra, Special Agent in Charge, DEA; Robert Casey, Special Agent in Charge, FBI; Andrea Whelan, Special Agent in Charge, IRS; and Lance Sumpter, Executive Director of HIDTA; and numerous area DAs, Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs and business leaders. The mission of the North Texas Crime Commission is to make the North Texas Region safer by linking law enforcement, business, education, government, media and all citizens. The NTCC was established in 1950. The NTCC believes proper enforcement and prevention can be achieved through a comprehensive and cooperative effort involving concerned citizens and law enforcement agencies throughout a six county area. We believe that the first function of government is to protect and safeguard the lives and property of the citizens. Some of the major initiatives of the North Texas Crime Commission are implemented through the NTCCs Crime Stoppers, Law Enforcement Liaison, Cyber Crime, Organized Retail Theft, Legislative, Membership, Finance and Insurance Fraud Committees.
