Go down under the Expert Path section and click on the forms link 4. Click on Service Agreement link 5. Enter YOUR email address, and the domainname.com (no www) 6. Now you are on the modification screen. Write down the contact handles for the Admin, Tech, and Billing contacts. Check who they are. a. To check on the NIC handle, press Ctl-N to open a new window. Return to the Home page, and click on the WHOIS button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. b. In the space provided, type: handle ABC123 (NIC Handle) c. Write down the name and email associated with the handle. If this is not associated with the client, but rather with the company currently hosting the client, proceed to PART 2. If the handle and the email registered for the handle correspond to the client, proceed as follows. 7. Call the client and check that the email is still active, and that they will be able to respond to the permission email NetSol will send them. Explain what will be happening, and send them the following email in addition.
Hi, We are in the process of transferring your site over to our servers. In order to transfer your domain, we have submitted our new server addresses and new technical NIC handle to Network Solutions. You will receive an email at this address from Network Solutions, asking for your permission to modify your domain information. If you would please: 1. 2. 3. 4. hit reply enter "MAIL-FROM" on line 0a (they will always mail to this address to confirm changes to your account, and unless the permission comes from your email, they will not make the change.) put "yes" or Y on the line (1a) then send the form back to them

Your ownership and control of your domain will not be affected in any way. The changes we are requesting are only for the Technical contact and the domain name servers. (Only if applicable) In your case, I am also requesting that the Billing NIC handle be changed, to your NIC: JR21508. This way, you will receive the renewal notice. If you have any questions at all, please give me a call at 716.636.4665, or send me an email at txgranville@andalon.com. Thank you very much for your cooperation, Teddie Granville

8. If all is well, make changes on the modification screen as follows: a. Change the Technical contact to: AD12309-OR

b. Be sure the billing contact corresponds to the client. If not, ex. Goes to the old host, change this to the admin contact, which does correspond to the client. c. Change the Name Server information to: i. Primary Server Hostname: ns1.Andalon.net ii. Primary Server Netaddress: 64.8.10.3 iii. Secondary Server Hostname: ns2.Andalon.net iv. Secondary Server Netaddress: 64.8.10.22 9. Hit submit. 10. Forward the email from NetSol on as instructed when you receive it. You will receive 2 more emails after that SAVE THEM! The first will assign the request a NIC number. Should anything go wrong in the process, this is the number you will need to reference when asking for help, or for the fax. The second will say that they cannot make the changes at this time, as their MAIL-FROM security doesnt allow it. 11. Modifications should be made within 48 of the client returning the email. Be sure to follow up, as mistakes can be made. You will receive notice from NetSol when the modifications are complete. PART 2 If the client is not any of the contacts, or the email associated with the client is no longer in service, you must resort to the fax method. 1. Call the client and inform them that you will be sending over a document (I suggest emailing so the client can easily print it on their letterhead), which they must print out on their letterhead, sign, and fax back to you. 2. Go to NetSol and submit the changes as described above. 3. When you receive the second email telling you they have received your request, take down the NIC number, and put it in the following document, along with the appropriate client information:
June 6, 2000 I, Name of client, (fill in title here) Lamar Advertising, would like all changes requested by: NIC-000504.6c77 (you will receive with NetSol email), to be made to my domain, lamarbuffalo.com. Thank you,

Paul Glenn (name of client) (Fill in title here)

4. Whoever signs this must be an authority figure, responsible for making decisions, at the clients company. Presidents and Directors are best. 5. Send this document to the client.

6. When they fax back a signed copy, printed on their letterhead, fax to: (703) 742-9552 7. It usually takes 24-72 hours to see changes made. You will be notified when it is complete.
