Dear Sir, Greetings. Despite Indias booming professional education sector most of the fresh management and engineering graduates face a lot of difficulty in obtaining or maintaining employment. According to researchers, one of the primary reasons is that they lack soft skills. Soft skills, as defined in scholarly literature, are nontechnical skills, abilities, and traits required to function in a specific employment environment. Soft skills are necessary to work effectively as a member of a team, to learn or acquire the technical skills necessary to perform a task, to inspire the confidence of supervisors and management, and to understand and adapt to the cultural norms of the workplace. Studies reveal that a majority of entry-level jobs required these types of social and interpersonal skills, and in one study, more than 85 percent of employers ranked soft skills among their most important hiring criteria. National inventories consistently find that employers list skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, and problem-solving along with personal qualities such as selfesteem and motivation as critical for workforce productivity. How is this curriculum organized? Using this research, we designed this soft skills curriculum to centers that are either currently providing or wish to provide job training services to residents. The curriculum focuses on personal management skillsthose skills and qualities one needs in order to be mentally and emotionally prepared for employment. Specific topics include, among others, taking direction and accepting constructive criticism, the importance of self-motivation, problem solving/overcoming common employment-related obstacles, adaptability, and time management. The training methodology includes student exercises, instructor talking points, and overhead slides. Activities are varied, including roleplaying and scenarios, group discussions, and individual exercises. This curriculum could be taught as a stand-alone course or it could be incorporated into a comprehensive job-training program that also includes technical skills training, job placement assistance, mentoring, and job retention services.

How will students obtain maximum benefit from this course? The curriculum covers appropriate topics and is very efficiently designed with a perfect scientific approach with an ultimate objective to create responsible corporate citizens for the country and the employers would be more willing to hire an individual who has completed this course. If not, what are they looking for? Are there additional topics they would like to see included? Again, this curriculum was designed in a way that allows each professional institution to tailor it to its own specific needs. The personality can also be modified to a certain extent. Accordingly, recent years have seen a variety of efforts by professionals in various fields to design courses that will help develop certain positive trends in personality. The objective of such courses is to remove or screen out those barriers or obstructions that stand in the way of the expression of individual personality, through a process of training. Based on the observation of the existing gap between the academic deliverance and the corporate expectations, we have designed certain highly effective soft skills modules to remove the common employment related obstacles of the students by developing the skills and attitude of the students to make them mentally and emotionally prepared for employment. The objective of such courses is to remove or screen out those barriers or obstructions that stand in the way of the expression of individual personality, through a process of training. DEFINE THE TRAINING NEEDS First of all we define the requirement of the human process development in terms of learning needs. In the given topic, ascertain which sub-skills the organization wish to concentrate more on. Also, identify constraints and localization issues. To define the accurate training need we conduct perfect training need analysis by strictly adhering to the scientific approach of training by conducting psychometric test and modality strength test on the target audience. EXPLORE THE LEARNING OPTIONS Any topic could be taught, explained or demonstrated. It is up to the module design to select that method of facilitating the topic which gives the participant a better understanding of the subject. Some topics could be dealt simply like the way a teacher teaches in class. But for others it becomes important that the trainer demonstrate the practicality of his words. Sometimes it becomes necessary that the participants unlearn what they believe in so that they are able to fully comprehend the meaning of the message that the trainer wishes to give him. In such situations, it becomes essential to introduce or explain the topic by a practical demonstration of the issue. It could be in the form of a role play, case study, or maybe even a game, the selection of the methodology of teaching depends on the module design and adaptability. SEQUENCE THE LEARNING Once the topics and the methodology of facilitating these topics have been decided, we sequence the topics and activities into a logical manner. Every topic needs to be related to the previous as well as the successive topic. All the topics are so well planned and arranged together such that it resembles a playing field ensuring proper learning in the subconscious mind of the students improving the thought process of the students and raising them from a lower state of mind to higher state of mind. The purpose of this step is to design the overall flow of the training session. The modules are developed with a logical flow for the learning process with a well defined outcome with effective methodology as per the learning style of the audience.

DESIGNING THE OVERALL COURSE ENVELOPE After following the above steps we develop the course envelope with the whole set of performance criteria for the training event.
