CAC Access
Needs CAC Data Base Server software installed (manages the SQL database) and CAC Server. Both included in the central unit. Software included in the Central Unit (ref.4410) to manage readers, user groups and advanced access control functions. Friendly graphic interface, simple and intuitive with a framework similar to Outlook . All the options can be viewed in a hierarchic tree: doors, user profiles, schedules, automation. TCP/IP client server architecture.
Technical features
2.048 users. 64 user groups (profiles). Each one defines the restrictions that are applied to the group by allocation of up to 3 areas and 3 schedules. 4 special profiles without user restrictions. Special treatment for vehicles (parking areas). 32 areas. They define the doors to which access is allowed. 32 schedules. They define the periods of time when access is allowed to users. On-line record of the last 3000 incidents (entries, exits, access denied, alerts, etc). 32 weekly device activation schedules (sensors/relays). Capacity limitation in certain rooms or premises to a number of people. Door blocking/unblocking. Temporary user blocking individually or by groups. Access not permitted until they are unblocked. Option to assign timed and physical expiry of proximity cards (typical application in hotels). Automatic change of winter/summer time. Anti-pass back function, which prevents two people using the same identifier to access the facility. The doors that belong to the installation perimeter are defined and are checked to see if the user is inside or outside the perimeter when coming through them. There are two anti-passback levels associated with the same identifier, depending on how the facility is accessed, by pedestrian door or for vehicles (the type of door is defined by the CAC Control Server application). All the users may be located outside the perimeter at a set programmed time. Continuous testing of devices. Firmware update in installation. Lets you update the central unit with new versions or functions and resolve problems. Activation of devices associated to each user, presenting the identifier in a reader. Relay activation from a reader with keyboard and proximity. Alarms connection and disconnection.

Electric Lock
Device that lets you unblock the door temporarily in safe conditions: identifier accepted or opening from inside by means of the exit button. There are several models distinguished by different operating features, installation and power supply. Depending on the type of protection against electrical power cuts: Normal operation (fail secure). The door is unblocked when the electric lock is powered. As an advantage, if there is a power cut the door does not unlock. The NO (normally open) terminal is connected from the electric lock relay. Inverted operation (fail safe). The door remains blocked while the electric lock is powered. It is unlocked by cutting off the power. An advantage is that if there is a power cut, the door does not block (fire systems). According to the type of installation, there are: Electrical lock/door release. Recommended in installations where we want to combine with the traditional lock and are normally installed embedded in the door frame. When activated, releases the latch to allow the door to open. Electromagnetic door release. Usually installed when there are security requirements against fire: outward opening doors, power shutoff during the fire alarm to facilitate evacuation. They are inverted type. An iron strip is placed in the leaf of the door and an electromagnet in the frame so that when the door is closed their faces are touching. The door stays closed while the electromagnet attracts the strip. Depending on the force with of attraction, it can resist pulling or pushing to try to open the door. The force is usually measured in Kg. When there is no space in the door frame to fit the lock or if we do not want to drill it, it can be mounted on the wall with special brackets. According to the type of power supply, there are: DC current. Characterized by being quiet. Inverted operation electric locks must be this type. AC current. They are noisy compared with DC locks. They generally have a higher consumption and work better in doors subject to some type of pressure: wind, bolt friction, etc. There are door release models with a built-in door sensor to detect if the door stays open accidentally.

Power Supplies
When choosing a suitable power supply it is necessary to consider the consumption of all the elements in the system, especially the electric lock. It is recommended to use a magneto-thermal switch not shared with any other equipment to avoid power supply disconnections caused by them. It is recommendable to use an emergency supply system (with battery) to prevent doors blocking or unblocking in the event of power cuts. In centralized installations with long distances it will be necessary to place additional power sources in the access to prevent tension drops in the wiring.

Power Cutoff
REF. 4475 POWER CUTOFF Lets you disconnect the electrical current to the devices in a room when the user is not in. For connection, it is necessary to introduce the user proximity card in the cutoff (only works with proximity cards). When the user leaves the room they remove the card from the cutoff and then have 10 seconds courtesy to leave the room. Designed to be used as a complement to the stand-alone or centralized proximity readers, since the same cards are used. The user is obliged to remove the card from the cutoff; otherwise they will not be able to open the door of the room. Embedded installation in mechanism box 60x70mm. Operating at 230V. Cutoff power: 6000W.

PC Management Modules
The system operating mode configuration, user authorizations and cancellations and restrictions are handled via PC and sent to the central unit so that it works independently. The information generated by the installation (events) must be communicated to the PC in real time. To set up these communications, the PC must be connected to the central unit. The connection can be made locally or remotely, using one of the following devices:

IP Adaptor (ref.1087)
Communication between management PC and the installation using IT network (Ethernet), avoiding additional wiring. Connection to central unit by programmer (ref. 2466). An IP address must be configured to connect to the network using the software included. Remote management via Internet if the protection devices (Firewall) in the IT installation allow it (specialized personnel required to configure router for Internet access).

In the installation it is possible to connect up to 1000 relays in the same decoder bus, to activate different devices in response to the activation of sensors or trigger them independently. The relays are implemented by 'relay decoder' containing 8 2 Amp. relays with NA and NC output. The relay decoder connects to the decoder bus, which powers it. For each output, timing (1 to 255 seconds or indefinite) and the initial status (active or standby) are configured.
ACCESSORIES
78
There are several ways to trigger the relays: Schedule planner: activates and deactivates relays according to a set weekly schedule (up to 32 daily plans). From the access control readers. Each user can have a relay associate with their identifier so that when it is presented, the associated relay status is switched while activating the door release. From the central guard - unit. Any relay can be activated or deactivated by entering its number and the desired status (active / standby). When a sensor or combination of sensors is activated. When the maximum capacity of a zone is reached. When there is someone in a zone.
Typical applications are: Automatic connection and disconnection of devices: heating, refrigeration, lighting, etc. Alarms connection and disconnection. Activation of sirens and warning lights. Unblocking of doors during a set schedule.
Specifications
Programming the sensor and relay decoders is done with the decoder programmer (ref. 2466).
