BOARD OF CANVASS MINUTES JUNE 21, 2011 FOR THE WINFIELD MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON JUNE 14, 2011

Mayor Ron Stone called the Board of Canvass to order at 7:20 P.M. and the ballot box with election materials was brought forth and opened by Recorder, Jackie Hunter. Certification of Absentee Ballots. Recorder, Jackie Hunter certified there was 1 (one) absentee ballot cast. Provisional Ballot Consideration. Three provisional ballots were cast and it was found that: Voter # 1 (one) was not registered in the Putnam County registration book. Therefore, it was moved by Charles Eshenaur that this provisional ballot voted not be counted for stated reason. Charles Keefer seconded the motion; motion carried. Voter # 2 (two) was not registered in the Putnam County registration book, Therefore it was moved by Nathan Fewell that this provisional ballot voted not be counted for stated reason. Charles Eshenaur made a second; motion carried. Voter #3 (three) was not registered in the Putnam County registration book. Therefore, it was moved by Charles Keefer that this provisional ballot voted not be counted for stated reason. Nathan Fewell seconded the motion; motion carried.

Ballot Reconciliation: Early Voting and Regular Voting: Receiving Board records noted that 505 ballots were cast including 1 (one) absentee ballot and 3 (three) Provisional ballots. The Board of Canvass verified that ballots cast and counted matched Receiving Board records.
