ACTIVITY INFORMATION
11-33497 (LARCENY) Deputies assigned to Scio Twp were called to the Polo Fields Golf Course, at 5200 Polo Fields Dr, for the complaint of stolen golf flags. Police were contacted on 7/16/2011; deputies believe the incident occurred sometime during the night. The complainant told deputies they discovered 17 marker golf flags missing from 18 of the courses holes. The flags were discovered missing when the Course prepared to open in the morning. No suspect information was available. The case remains open.

11-33518 (BURGLARY) On 7/16/2011 deputies assigned to Superior Twp were dispatched to the St. Joseph Hospital campus for a burglary complaint. The complainant told deputies someone broke into a storage barn, which was located on the grounds of the hospital campus. The complainant was unsure when the incident occurred. No property was reported stolen. The suspect broke a padlock off the barn door to gain entry. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The case remains under investigation.

11-33647 (HOME INVASION) On 7/17/2011 deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp investigated a residential burglary in the 400 block of North Harris Rd. Investigators believe the incident occurred on the day it was reported; it is believed to have occurred during the daytime. Entry to the home was gained through a ground floor window. A bicycle and watch were reported stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. This remains an active investigation.

11-33710 (VANDALISM) Deputies assigned to Scio Twp were called to the 500 block of Apricot Lane for the complaint of vandalism. Police were contacted on 7/17/2011; the time of the incident is unknown. The victim told deputies that someone placed sharp objects under the tires of their parked car. The tires were damaged. No further details were available at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.

11-33774 (LARCENY OF BICYCLES) Deputies patrolling Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 6900 block of McKean Rd on 7/17/2011 for the report of three stolen bicycles. The victim told deputies that three (3) bicycles were left outside of their home. They were discovered missing in the morningthe victim believes they were stolen during the night. 11-33465 (WARRANT ARREST) On 7/16/2011, at approximately 12:15AM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject in the 700 block of Campbell St. Deputies were in the area conducting an unrelated investigation when the subject was identified. The subject was taken into custody without incident. The subject was identified and taken into custody without incident. 11-33660 (WARRANT ARREST) On 7/17/2011, at about 3:00AM, deputies from the Community Policing Team in Ypsilanti Twp investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block of Washtenaw Ave. During the investigation the deputies identified a wanted subject, and took the subject into custody without incident. 11-33735 (WARRANT ARREST) Deputies assigned to the Community Policing Team in Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject on 7/17/2011, at about 4:30AM. Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Grove Rd and Bridge Rd when the subject was encountered as a result of a traffic stop. The individual was identified and arrested without incident. 11-33756 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST) On 7/17/2011, at about 8:00PM, deputies patrolling Scio Twp arrested a suspected drunk driver in the area of Baker Rd and I-94. Deputies made contact with the driver near one of the truck stops. During the encounter with the motorist, deputies determined they individual was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. No further details were available at the time of this posting. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutor for review.
