The Camp Pendleton Exceptional Family Member Program is pleased to welcome Charlene Autolino, Director of the Disability Help

Center, to present information on Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Parents and providers are invited to attend. SSI makes monthly payments to people with low income and limited resources who are 65 or older, or blind or disabled. Your child younger than 18 can qualify if he or she meets Social Security's definition of disability for children, and if his or her income and resources fall within the eligibility limits. The amount of the SSI payment is different from one state to another because some states add to the SSI payment. Charlene Autolino will share information on: Eligibility, Definition of Disability, California Specific Criteria and be available to answer questions. Date: Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm Location: Mainside Building 13150, Classroom #1 Reservations are required. However, many individuals access these sites from home or other locations. Credentials for the DoD sites could still be harvested from these locations.
