Come to My Birthday, Please!

1. INVITING SOMEONE (Mengundang Seseorang)

Jika ingin mengundang orang lain (making invitation), baik untuk ulang tahun, atau
keperluan yang lainnya, maka bisa menggunakan ungkapan-ungkapan berikut ini,
termasuk ketika bagaimana meresponnya, menerima undangan (accepting invitation)
atau menolaknya (declining invitation). 

a. Ungkapan Making Invitation (Membuat Undangan)

1. Would you come to… ? (Maukah kamu datang ke...?)

2. Might you want to go along with us? (Bisakah kamu pergi bersama kami?)
3. Would you run with me today? (Bisakah kamu pergi bersamaku hari ini?)
4. What about hanging out with us today? (Bagaimana dengan pergi keluar
bersama kami hari ini?)
5. Do you like to come? (Maukah kamu untuk datang?)
6. Would you like to…? (Bisakah kamu untuk...?)
7. I would very happy if…? (Aku sangat senang jika...?)
8. We would be delighted if you…? (Kami akan sangat senang jika kamu...?)
9. Would you care to..? (Bisakah kamu untuk...?)
10. We would be pleased if you could…? (Kami akan senang jika kamu bisa...?)

b. Ungkapan Accepting Invitation (Menerima Undangan)

1. That’s very kind of you (Kamu baik sekali)

2. We’d like very glad to…. (Kami akan sangat senang untuk....)
3. What a delightful idea (Ide yang sangat menyenangkan)
4. With the greatest pleasure (Dengan sangat senang hati)
5. Thank you very much for inviting me (Terima kasih banyak sudah mengundang
saya)
6. It’s delightful to…. (Itu sangat menyenangkan untuk....)
7. That would be very nice (Itu pasti akan sangat menyenangkan)
8. OK,I will be there ! (Ok, Aku akan datang!)

c. Ungkapan Declining Invitation (Menolak Undangan)

1. I’m very sorry, I don’t think I can go. (Maafkan aku, sepertinya aku tidak bisa
pergi)
2. I’d like to, but.... (Aku ingin tapi...)
3. I’m afraid I’ve already promised.... (Aku takut, aku sudah ada janji...)
4. Thank you for asking me, but.... (Terima kasih sudah mengajakku, tapi...)
5. Unfortunately, I can’t.... (Sayang sekali, aku tidak bisa....)
6. I'm Sorry, I can’t. (Maafkan aku, aku tidak bisa)
7. I’d love to, but....(Aku ingin tapi...)
8. I don’t think I can. (Sepertinya aku tidak bisa)
9. I wish I could, but....(Aku harap aku bisa, tapi....)
10. Sorry, I am very busy. (Maaf, aku sangat sibuk)
11. Sorry, may be next time. (Maaf mungkin lain kali)
12. Thank you, but I can’t. (Terimakasih, tapi aku tidak bisa)
13. Sorry, I think I can't. (Maaf, sepertinya aku tidak bisa)
14. I can’t come (Saya tidak bisa datang)
15. I am horribly sad (Saya benar-benar sedih)
