To lower the fuel consumption and improve the main engine performance during low load operation on large container vessels
Relative propulsion power needed % 120 110

Speed reduction ?
25 knots refers to 100% relative propulsion power. A reduction of 5 knots will result in a requirement of 41% propulsion power
