SJVN LIMITED, A Mini Ratna Schedule A Public Sector Undertaking after successful commissioning of 1500MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh is emerging as a multi project company with following Hydro Power Projects allocated to it for development, operation and maintenance: 412 MW at Rampur, 775MW at Luhri, 66 MW at Dhaulasidh, 363 MW in Uttrakhand, and 900 MW Arun-III in Nepal. EXECUTVIE TRAINEES
Upper Age Limit 30 yrs as on closing date EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: No. of Educational Qualification Discipline Posts CA/ICWA/Two years full time MBA Finance & with specialization in Finance & 04 Accounts Accounts. Full Time M.Sc./ M. Tech (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geophysics) with Geology 05 Engineering Geology as the main subject or M.Sc. / M. Tech in Engineering Geology. Graduate with two years full time Human MBA/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma 07 Resources with specialization in Personnel/ HR.

Percentage of Marks

Simple Pass for CA/ICWA & for other prescribed qualification aggregate 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD and 55% marks for others.

Note: (i) The candidates should not have less than 50% marks for SC/ST/ PWD and 55% marks for others, taking average of all semesters / year irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester / year by the University / Institute. (ii) The candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the discipline as given above can only apply in the respective disciplines.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE: During the training period of one year, Executive Trainees will draw Basic Pay of R 20600/and IDA, along with other allowance up to 47% of Basic Pay such as Project Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Liveries, Shift Allowance, HRA/ Company leased Accommodation, etc., as per the rules of the Nigam. On successful completion of Training period they will be placed in the regular Pay Scale of Rs. 24900-50500/- at E2A level and shall be on probation for a period of one year. SELECTION PROCESS Written Test: The eligible candidates will be required to undergo a Written Test at Shimla. The test will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions on Executive

Aptitude Test. The eligible candidates will be informed through letter about the date and venue of the Written Test, besides the list will be hosted on our Website before 15 days of the date of the Test. Group Discussion & Personal Interview: Based on the requirement, the candidates qualifying the written test will be informed separately and be required to undergo Group Discussion and Personal Interview before the Companys Central Selection Board. VENUE OF TEST: Shimla (HP). PLACEMENT: The selected Trainees shall undergo one year training at various places. The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of training. Candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Projects/ Stations or offices. Relaxations for SC/ST/Physically Challenged: i. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST as applicable. ii. For Physically Challenged, upper age is relaxable by 10 years for General Category, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST category. iii. For SC/ST/Physically Challenged, no application fee is payable and they must enclose a copy of certificate in proof of belonging to SC/ST & Physically Challenged category from competent authority in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India. iv. All SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates with aggregate marks of 50% in prescribed qualification are eligible to apply for the post of Executive Trainees. Relaxation for OBC (Non Creamy Layer): Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years provided a copy of certificate of not belonging to creamy layer in the format prescribed by Govt. of India from a competent authority issued in the current year is enclosed with the application. The OBC candidates who belong to Creamy Layer are not entitled for OBC concession.

Concession for J&K Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.

SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND:


The selected candidates who belong to General and OBC category will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 2,50,000/- to successfully complete the prescribed training and thereafter serve the company for at least 3 years. This amount is Rs. 1,50,000/- for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped Category candidates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. 2. The candidate should not have attained the Upper Age prescribed above as on the closing date of the advertisement. For all the above posts, candidates should possess full time educational qualifications which are from recognized University/Institute of India and only those candidates whose final results have been declared as on closing date shall be considered eligible. Result awaited candidates need not apply. The candidates should have minimum adequate experience as on closing date mentioned above in multi-unit Public Sector Undertaking / Large Organization of repute. The candidate should have preferably worked in Hydro Electric Project. Persons working under Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings should submit their application through proper channel. They may, however, send one advance copy of the application along with requisite enclosures. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. The candidates applying should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions. Their admission at all the stages of the Written Test/Interview will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admission Certificate/Interview Call Letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by SJVN. SJVN will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents at the time of Personal Interview. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature shall be rejected/ cancelled without assigning any reason, thereof. Similarly, even after joining, if it is found that he/she has furnished any incorrect information or suppressed any material information, his/her services shall be summarily terminated. The decision of the SJVN as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the Written test/Interview shall be final. While filling in application form, the candidate should carefully decide about his choice for the discipline for the written test. More than one application from a candidate giving different disciplines will not be accepted in any case. Even if a candidate sends more than one completed application the SJVN will accept only one application at their discretion and the SJVNs decision in the matter shall be final. The candidates called for the Personal Interview will be reimbursed return rail/bus fare by shortest route as per the rules of the Nigam. Only Indian Nationals need apply. Applications received after the closing date shall neither be entertained nor returned.

The management reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or consider for lower posts/grade or not to fill up any of the posts or raise the minimum eligibility standards / cancel candidature of any candidate / or cancel recruitment process without assigning any reason. Merely meeting the above qualifications and experience shall not entitle a candidate to be called for Interview/Selection process. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Shimla and courts/tribunals/forums at Shimla only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/dispute.
