ASSESSMENT BRIEF

Assessment Schedule Assessment I 40%- Exam Class 13 The written test -comprising of analytical questions testing the basics concepts. The course of Written Exam will be as covered in Weeks 01-12. Assessment II 60% - Project
The students will be allotted a Project based on the International Business Course.The students will prepare an outline of the project and get it approved. The students shall prepare a POWER POINT presentation and a WORD Report based on the Project . The presentation shall be graded on basis of Quality of knowledge, organization of report,presentation, editing, use of fonts etc.

Projects are to be significant works of an applied nature, wherein the student is working on a company or organization to analyze and propose a solution to a specific problem.The completed project should generally include at a minimum 25 pages of typewritten text with associated summary data.

Aim of the Assessment: To address/ evaluate the students learning in terms of Learning Outcomes:
- Understanding the impact of elements of International Business Environemnt on Organizations. - Understand the role of organizations & Institutions in the rapidly changing International Business Environment.

Assessment Criteria: - Completeness of Answer -Ability to Understand and analyze the problems

Distinction Class Above 75% y y y y y The work shows evidence of in-depth, accurate and broad understanding of the concepts and principles of research methods The student demonstrates the ability to develop an original and an intelligent solution for solutions to concepts and principles of research methods The student puts forward a coherent, structured articulation of the developed solution The student has answered the brief in an imaginative and exploratory manner with high level of skills in concepts and understanding of techniques. The student demonstrates highly mature, efficient and independent approach to work, ability to interact professionally, highly motivated and excellent time planning abilities.

First Class 60% to 74% y y The work presented shows evidence of fully answering the aims and requirements of the brief The student produces a wide range of exploratory ideas, evidence of building up solutions to concepts and principles of research methods.

Second Class 50% to 59% y y The work presented shows evidence of satisfactorily answering the aims and requirements of the brief The application of principles of solutions to concepts and principles of research methods.

Third Class / Pass 40% to 49%

The work answers the aims and requirements in some areas of the brief, shows evidence of limited analysis and use of most elements from taught aspects leading to an adequate solution. The work shows use of resources to explore limited range of solutions to concepts and principles of research methods.

Fail 39% and below y y The work presented does not answer the aims and requirements of the Assessment brief. The student is not able to utilize available resources / information, does not show evidence of analysis and cannot apply the principles for solutions to concepts and principles of research methods.
