Draw the locus of a point, which is at a distance of 15mm from the center of the disc.

Unit 3 PROJECTIONS OF SOLIDS 1. A pentagonal prism axis vertical and base edge 40mm is 80mm high. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP, inclined at 40 degree to HP bisecting the axis .Draw the true shape of the section.

2. A hexagonal prism of base side 30mm and axis length 70mm rests on one of its ends on the
HP with two base sides parallel to the VP. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to the VP and inclined at 30 degree to the HP. The cutting plane meets the axis at 30mm from the top. Draw the front view, sectional top view and true shape of the section.

3. A pentagonal pyramid of side of base 25mm and height 60 mm rests on VP on its base with a
base edge perpendicular to HP and inclined at 60 degree to VP passing through a base corner. Draw the sectional elevation and true shape. 4. A hexagonal pyramid of base side 30mm and axis height 80mm is lying on the ground on its base with a base edge parallel to the VP. It is cut by the plane, perpendicular to the VP, inclined at 45 degree to the HP and meets the axis at a point 25mm from the base .Draw the sectional plan and true shape of the section.
