A complete software component, which synchronizes all the dataa user has saved in the nivio cloud and hi s local PC. It comes pre-installed with Watermelon - a niviodeveloped Linux based OS.

nLive is a personalized U L given to each user through which he can access his data on the go through any browser. nLivetakes feeds from your friends via social networking sites like facebook and twitter. Through nLive a person is able to share his files. A user can also lis ten to the music, watch videos or browse through a photo album saved in his account.

Watermelon, cloudPC and cloudBook

What is Watermelon?
Watermelon is a new operating system, based on Mobilin, supplied by nivio. It is aimed principally at thin client devices and notebooks where it allows a simple, light and low-powered device to offer all the functionality of a full Windows machine by connecting to the nivioGrid. Users can experience the standard Windows desktop experience with the full functionality applications that run there (entertainment, connectivity, social networking, professional etc) without the need to purchase expensive software licences; the applications can be obtained on a monthly rental basis as and when needed. Data is also synchronized with the grid automatically so there is never any danger of losing data and that data is also available from any other connected computer in the world. Users dont have to be restricted to cloud -only working; Watermelon includes a version of nivios nApps which allows the rented applications to be streamed on the device without requiring a full, cumbersome install and without cluttering up the registry. Thus, users have the best of both worlds; cloud computing whilst connected and local operation when, f or example, on a plane and with all the software provided on a rental rather than purchase basis. Watermelon is fully capable of playing any of the media files be it movies, songs or photos. A web browser, an email client, games and a multi client chat m essenger is in built so that users never run out of options when not connected to the cloud.
