What is human computer interaction and explain their importance Humancomputer interaction (HCI) is the study, planning and design of the interaction between people (users) and computers. It is often regarded as the intersection of computer science, behavioral sciences, design and several other fields of study. Interaction between users and computers occurs at the user interface (or simply interface), which includes both software and hardware; for example, characters or objects displayed by software on a personal's monitor, input received from users via hardware peripherals such as keyboards and mice, and other user interactions with large-scale computerized systems such as aircraft and power plants. A classic example of this is the Three Mile Island accident where investigations concluded that the design of the human-machine interface was at least partially responsible for the disaster. Similarly, accidents in aviation have resulted from manufacturers' decisions to use non-standard flight instrument and/or throttle quadrant layouts: even though the new designs were proposed to be superior in regards to basic human-machine interaction, pilots had already ingrained the "standard" layout and thus the conceptually good idea actually had undesirable results. 2. What is File System A file system is a method of storing and organizing arbitrary collections of data, in a form that is human-readable. A file system organizes data into an easy-to-manipulate database of human-readable names for the data, usually with a human-readable hierarchical organization of the data, for the storage, organization, manipulation, and retrieval by the computer's operating system. Each discrete collection of data in a file system is referred to as a computer file. 3. What are the types of File System A. Disk file systems A disk file system is a file system designed for the storage of files on a data storage device, most commonly a disk drive, which might be directly or indirectly connected to the computer. Examples of disk file systems include FAT (FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT), NTFS, HFS andHFS+, HPFS, UFS, ext2, ext3, ext4, btrfs, ISO 9660, ODS-5, Veritas File System, VMFS, ZFS, ReiserFS and UDF. Some disk file systems are journaling file systems or versioning file systems.

B. Optical discs ISO 9660 and Universal Disk Format (UDF) are the two most common formats that target Compact Discs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Mount Rainier is a newer extension to UDF supported by Linux 2.6 series and Windows Vista that facilitates rewriting to DVDs in the same fashion as has been possible with floppy disks. C. Flash file systems A flash file system is a file system designed for storing files on flash memory devices. These are becoming more prevalent as the number of mobile devices is increasing, and the capacity of flash memories increase. 4. Define recycle bin and their Fuction A recycling bin is a container used to hold recyclables before they are taken torecycling centers. Recycling bins exist in various sizes for use in homes, offices, and large public facilities. Separate containers are often provided for paper, tin or aluminum cans, and glassor plastic bottles. Many recycling bins are designed to be easily recognisable, and are marked with slogans promoting recycling on a blue or green background. Others are intentionally unobtrusive. Bins are sometimes different colors so that recyclers may differentiate between the types of materials to be placed in them. Blue bins usually indicate metals and plastics and green or red indicate papers. Recycling bins are a common element of municipal kerbside collection programs, which frequently distribute the bins to encourage participation. If you delete a file from your computer, it goes straight into the recycle bin. Some people think that once it has been sent to the recycle bin, it has been terminated but it just stays in the recycle bin and if you want to get that file back then you can get it by restoring it from the recycle bin. If you want to delete it permanently, delete it from the recycle bin.
