    MOUNTING PROCEDURE FOR SPINNING & SPEED FRAME ALUFIT COTS After de-mounting of old cots clean the surface of bare arbours properly and ensure that following: There are no traces of adhesive or oil. Grooves of the arbors are clean For mounting of spinning or speed frame Alufit cots use only Vertical type mounting machine either pneumatic or hydraulic operated: Vertical mounting M/C to be used for mounting. Correct type of mounting base plate & Plunger to be used. Centering pin or adopter is very essential for mounting spinning or speed frame Alufit cots. Ensure that inner side of arbor to be mounted is seated properly on mounting base so that its axis is perpendicular to mounting base. Ensure that Alufit cot inserted on centering pin is aligned parallel to arbor axis for proper mounting. Improper alignment may lead to excess vibration & eventually cots might damage. Chamfering provided on cots bore helps for proper seating on arbor before mounting.
