Private Numbering Plans GVPN allows organizations to set up private numbering plans with a virtual mobile PBX using digit sequences which have different structures and meanings than what is provided by the public numbering plan. Abbreviated Dialing GVPN supports abbreviated dialing that can be mapped to local telephone numbers or international numbers with the ability to define extensions within a virtual numbering plan and outside to commonly called numbers. This allows business locations worldwide to be mapped to a single numbering plan. Attendant Service The attendant service feature of GVPN allows a user that has dialed a restricted or unrecognized number to be redirected to an attendant. Multiple Closed User Group (CUG) Support GVPN's multiple tariff group support enables simple GVPN allows operators to set up user groups, applying certain rules to those in the group. Operators can define mobile hierarchies, whereby all users may be part of one CUG or where certain groups have their own CUG.

On-Net / Off-Net Call Support The function of the on-net/off-net call support of GVPN allows operators to set up restrictions for off-net (outside of the virtual PBX) calls. International Routing GVPN also provides support for international routing. The routing number is returned in international format containing country code digits and the nature of the number for ANSI users. For GSM subscribers, the nature of the address or number and number plan parameters are set to their own correct values for both national and international calls.
