Read the dialogue loudly!


Dialogue 1:
Ruth : What’s your opinion of smoking?

Asrin : I’m not sure. For me, it’s important that children do not smoke.

Ruth : But do you think it’s a good idea that people can smoke in shops
and buses?
Asrin : I don’t think so. Children use buses too.

Ruth : So what do you think about stopping smoking everywhere in


Jakarta?
Asrin : I think that’s a good idea.

Dialogue 2:
Dina : What do you think we should give to Fia for her birthday?
Lisa : I think we should give her a jacket, because she often rides a
motorcycle.
Dina : I disagree. She already has so many jackets. How about a bag?
She wears the same bag every day to go to school. So, I think it
would be great if we give her a bag.
Lisa : Hm. Okay then. I agree. Let’s buy her a bag today after school.
Dina : Okay.

But, it’s not easy to travel around the city. Jakarta is too
crowded.

competition
Trevor What do you mean?
Matt You know, Everyone seems to compete to have the latest
model.
Trevor Yes, I feel that too.

A : I was thinking of holding the company retreat in the mountains.
B : I agree, I think that that would be perfect!
A : I was thinking it could take place sometime in January.
B : That might be a little too cold for some people.
A : Yes, you are right.
B : What about April? April has good weather that isn't too cold or too
hot.
A : Yes, that would work out better.
B : You know, maybe we could take a survey to see how that works for
everyone.
A : Good idea! We'll have to get right on it.
B : Fine! Well, I'll get right on it now!

Ayu : Hi guys!
Belina : Hi Ayu !
Cindy : Hi Ayu!
Dina : Hi Ayu
Ayu : Hey Belina, yesterday you told me that you will reveal one of your
secret to us, let's talk about it.
Dina : You made me so curious.
Cindy : Yeah, tell us about it.
Belina : Yeah, but before I can reveal my secret to you, can you promise to
keep my secret whatever happen to us?
Ayu : I am promise.
Cindy : I am promise to not reveal it to others.
Belina : How about you, Dina? Can you keep a secret?
Dina : Okay, I promise.
Belina : Well, I think I must share this secret to you. The secret is I love
your older brother, Cindy.
Cindy : Really? You love him?
Belina : I think I like him so much.

Ayu : Cindy's brother is the latest men I suggest you to fall in love with
him, I don't think he is the most compatible person for you.
Cindy : No, I disagree with you Ayu, my brother is one of a clever boy in
our class. But I have a same opinion with Belina.
Belina : Why do you think so? I think Cindy's brother is a good boy
Cindy : I agree with you, Belina. My brother is a discipline boy and always
neat.
Ayu : I also think Cindy's brother is neat. But, if you say he is discipline,
you're wrong, he ever late to go to school.
Belina : I knew it was not Cindy's brother's fault.
Cindy : I agree with you, Belina. He is late because my mother late for
preparing breakfast, it was not his fault.

Ayu : Oh okay never mind, I just remind you that you must be wary for
falling in love with someone, Belina.
