The regular promotion will be effective from the date they actually assume the charge as Sr. Admn. Officer at the Station/Offices mentioned above. The charge of assumption report in respect officers will be sent to the DG : AIR by the Head of the Office concerned.

In case of above mentioned officers fail to assume the charge of his/her posting on as Sr. Admn. Officer with one month from the issue of this order or if any officer refuses to accept promotion on account of any reason, he/she will be debarred from promotion for one year and the vacancy will be filled up by appointing another offer. On account of his eventual promotion to the higher grade, such officer will lose seniority vis--vis his junior promoted to the higher grade earlier.
