Shaping body: Starting from the hem make body 8 (9, 11, 12) squares wide and 4 (4, 5, 5) rows high. Row 7: For large and extra large only: Rep Row 6 Row 6 (6, 8, 8): At front connect square triangle and next 1 (1, 2, 2) squares, skip armhole, work 4 (5, 5, 6) squares, skip armhole, connect 1 (1, 2, 2) squares and half square triangle. Note: Connect front top square to the back top square to form left shoulder seam while attaching the back squares. Connect top square front to back square to form right shoulder seam while working the front squares. Sleeves: Make sleeves 3 (3, 3, 4) squares wide and 4 (4, 5, 5) squares long, at end of last square do not finish off, sl st to center of corner ch, (sc, ch 5) across length of sleeve 1 (2, 3, 3) times. Connecting row: Sc (ch 2, sl around matching ch, ch 2, sc in next ch sp) across. Finish off. Using a yarn needle whip stitch the sleeves to body at the armholes, weave in ends. Edging: (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in each ch sp, skip scs and dcs, rep all around neck, front, hem and sleeve hems. Finish off, weave in ends. Blocking: (If possible use a tailor mannequin to block this piece.) Pin edges together from the bottom of the V neck to the hem to shape the points. Open the sleeve ends to flare the cuffs.
