ANNEXURE II HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (BDA) SCHEME OF IREDA

OBJECTIVES: Business Generation for IREDA. Creation of Infrastructure to BDA. Financial Support to BDA. FACILITIES: BUSINESS LINKED INCENTIVES: BDAs will generate business for IREDA. IREDA, in turn provides them Business Linked Incentives envisaged for all sectors as :INCENTIVES PROPOSED on loan disbursed. SPV 0.5% * Solar Thermal, (ADB) 0.4% Solar Thermal (non-ADB) 0.25% Micro Hydel (WB) 0.1% Small Hydro & Micro Hydel (Non WB) 0.05% Wind (WB/ADB/DANIDA) 0.1% Wind (Non-WB) 0.05% Co-generation (ADB) 0.1% Co-generation (Non-ADB) 0.05% Power Generation thro bio-mass 0.05% Bio-methanation (ADB) 0.05% Bio-methanation (Non-ADB) 0.025% Energy Efficiency/Conservation 0.05% Ethanol 0.05 % Establishment of Energy Centres 0.3% For hybrid systems incentive would be paid at the rate of Rs. 1.125 /Wp for the SPV component only. INFRASTRUCTURE LOAN:

IREDA provides Infrastructure Loan to a maximum of Rs. 3 lakhs at a nominal interest of 5% PA + Interest Tax to its BDAs after assessing their performance.

3. MONTHLY PAYMENTS: IREDA provides a lump sum amount of Rs.20,000/- per month to its BDAs except Private Consultancy Organizations, Technical Institutions and agency registered under societies Act. to partly meet their overhead expenditure for a period of six months for general category states and 12 months for special category states (as identified) on the basis of their performance. 4. PUBLICATION OF NEWS LETTER

IREDA provides financial support to BDAs for the publication of Newsletter @ Rs.7,500/- per quarterly issue. 5. TRANSLATION OF BROCHURE

IREDA provides financial support to BDAs on reimbursement basis to the maximum of Rs.2,000/- per brochure for the translation and printing of IREDA Brochures into local language. 6. ADVERTISEMENT

IREDA provides financial support to BDAs on reimbursement basis to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- in a financial year for releasing IREDA advertisement in the local Newspaper.
