The applications forms can be downloaded from the University Website (www.b-u.ac.in) from 04.08.2011. No separate application form will be issued by the university. FEE for each paper : Rs. 400/-

While remitting the examination fees, the fee for the Statement of Marks (Rs.150/-) and cost of Application (Rs.50/-) must also be paid. The Candidates who is eligible to appear for the M.Phil examinations for the first time shall submit the examination application and pay the fee for all papers whether the candidate is willing or not willing to appear for the September 2010 examinations. Prescribed fee may be paid by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the REGISTRAR, BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE 641 046 or through a challan (Green Colour, EXAM FUND ACCOUNT) in Bank of India. Sub: M.Phil. Part II Dissertation applying for Extension reg. ******** I am by direction to inform you that the candidates admitted in SEPTEMBER 2010 and unable to submit their dissertation before 30.09.2011 are eligible to apply for two Extensions as per the M.Phil. regulations. The first extension will be granted for Six months period from 01.10.2011 to 31.03.2012. If not submitted the dissertation within that period granted the second extension, if required, will be for the next six months period from 01.04.2012 to 30.09.2012 The fee for one extension is Rs.200/-, if applied, on or before 31.10.2011 for first extension, and for II extension it will be 30.04.2012. The candidate shall pay a fine of Rs.250/- for submission of application after the due dates for each extension in addition to the extension fee (i.e Rs.200+250) Rs.450/The application form to apply for extension of time can be had from the Controller of Examinations on request.
