Plt/01.2 HEAD & DEPARTMEMTS

1. Plant manager- Head of Plant, authorized & Responsible Person of Plant Division related to the all events of Plant. 2. Workshop- Maintenance and Repairing of Equipments/Machinery/Vehicles.

3. Tower Cranes Section- Responsible for Supply, erect, commission, dismantle, provide the operators and properly maintain of Tower Cranes & Construction Hoist at Sites. 4. Transport & Hiring Department- In charge of Mobilization & Demobilization of Plant Vehicles & Equipments and Hiring of Vehicles & Equipments from the Supplier.

5. Administration & Traffic- In charge of all Correspondence with Traffic and security Department and Administration of Plant. 6. Purchasing Department- In charge of Purchasing of spare parts / Workshop materials.

7. Store- Control of Spare Parts/Materials, Fuel, Lubricants and Sundry Assets. 8. Accounts Department- In Charge of Documents belongs to the accounts Entries, Maintenance of Fixed Asset Record and analysis of monthly economical status of Plant.

Plt/01.30 PLANT MANAGER Duties and Responsibilities The Plant Manager is reporting directly to Managing Director and linked with Operation Manager, administration, Estimation and Planning Department Managers, Project Managers and Store Manager. 1. Implementing Integrated Management system in Compliance with ISO 9001:2001, ISO 14001:1999 requirements 2. Ensure all applicable regulations and legal requirements are implemented. 3. Attends the I.M.S. Management Review Meeting. 4. Conducting risk assessment for his activities annual and reassessed whenever required. 5. He is responsible for coordinating with all concerned personal in the organization in planning the resources and implementing the relevant procedure. He monitors the equipment maintenance process and the implementation of the Quality System in his Department 6. Coordinating with Operation Managers, Divisional Managers and project Managers. He is responsible for planning the equipment maintenance process for which he delegates the responsibilities of maintaining of necessary records to concerned technicians and drivers, trained to carry out the maintenance activities. He schedules the maintenance activities on consultation with Operation Managers, Division Managers and Project Managers. He is also responsible for deployment of machinery, heavy equipment and vehicles in his custody to the projects according schedules.

7. He is responsible to ensure that fuel tanks fixed and mobile ar in accordance to Safety Standards. He is responsible to ensure the implementation of plan for fuel distribution to sites. 8. He is responsible of hiring of Vehicles / Machinery / Equipment required by Project with prior approval of Managing Director. He has to ensure the completeness of the invoicing process to projects for equipment assigned, to the Projects / Sites. 9. He is responsible for monitoring the spare parts stock in Plant Store, their timely purchase at competitive rates for fast and cost effective repair maintenance of Vehicles / Machinery / Equipment at regular intervals as to determine whether to sell a certain equipment / to hold it. 10. An effective control Plant Workshop, Transport, Plant Accounts and Plant Purchase department, for effective function of Plant.

Plt/01.30 WORKSHOP Head of Section: General Foreman Coordinate with Plant Manager to planning the equipment maintenance process and delegate the responsibilities of maintaining the necessary records to concerned technicians, trained to carry out the maintenance activities. Maintenance Register 1. All main Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles that require the periodic maintenance shall be uniquely identified, labeled and legibly marked to show their identification. 2. The General Foreman shall prepare and maintain an Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles Maintenance Register, listing all equipment, their unique identification, recommended period of maintenance and issue details, the external agencies performing the maintenance activities of relevant equipment shall be identified in the register.

Maintenance Shedule 1. The General Foreman coordinate with Plant Manager, shall establish and maintain the Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles Maintenance Schedule, that require periodic maintenance, the record shall state the unique identification, description and dates required for maintenance checks. 2. The duration of vehicles maintenance schedule shall be decided in accordance with the relevant department personal, concerned technicians, equipment operations manuals and considering the nature of operation. 3. The Plant Manager shall arrange to execute the maintenance of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles, that are not in use and to keep them ready for further use. The maintenance schedule to be updated to show the change affected.

Maintenance Record 1. The Plant Manager shall delegate Personal to prepare and maintain the Maintenance Record Sheet for each Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles. This record sheet sall show the maintenance history such as checks performed, reason of breakdown and relevant repairs affected. 2. The Maintenance Record Sheet shall identify the location or the individual to whom the equipment is issued. The concerned personal is to be informed about the transfer of equipment from one location to another. Breakdown of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles 1. In the event of breakdown, the Plant Manager shall be informed for necessary repair or maintenance. 2. The concerned supervisor/technician shall prepare an Equipment Breakdown Report, stating the reason of breakdown and maintenance to be effected. Then it shall be submitted to the Project Managers for further process. 3. The Project Manager shall review the Equipment Breakdown Report and forward his recommendations to the Plant Manager for review and approval. Then equipment shall be transferred to the Plant along with approved Equipment Breakdown Report. Scrap of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles The General Foreman coordinate with Plant Manager, to prepare evaluation report of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles and on verification if found not to repair or maintenance of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles where found not to repair or maintenance, in Consultation with General Manager shall execute the following action. a) Arrange to send Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles to main stockiest in case of emergency, or if required by service agreements. b) Decide to scrap Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles if on verification, were found to be commercially not liable for repair or maintenance.

The General Foreman coordinates with Plant Manager to prepare and maintain the Evaluation of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles after each six month.

Procedures
Receipt of E/V/M for repairing Maintenance 1. Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles for repairing/servicing shifting to Workshop from the Transport Dept. 2. The General Foreman of the Workshop will verify the condition of E/M/V and report to the Plant Manager. 3. If required, Service or Repairing for the Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles, the General Foreman will recommend to open the Job Card and forward it for approval to Plant Manager. Spare Parts or Outside Service for E/V/M. 1. As per Job Card requirements, General Foreman will forward the requisition for the Spare Parts or Workshop Materials to the Plant Manager. 2. The Plant Manager marks the requisitions to the Store to providing the Spare Parts or Materials. 3. The General Foreman will receive the Spare Parts or Outside Services though the Store Issue Voucher by Store. Repairing or Maintenance 1. Repairing and Maintenance of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles and Tower Cranes will manage under General Foreman. 2. The Technical Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor will provide the technical support to Mechanics and Assistant Mechanics for the finishing of Repairing or Service 3. After the repairing or servicing, The General Foreman will check, verify and ensure the condition of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles. And General Foreman will recommend to shifting the Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles to the Transport Dept.

Job Card to be closed at the end of shifting the Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles and to be returned to Accounts with all Supporting Documents for Job Costing.

Records and References Plant Workshop will maintain the following records: 1. Copy of Catalogues of Equipment/Machineries/Vehicles and Tower Cranes for Technical Information. 2. Maintenance Register. 3. Maintenance Schedule Program. 4. Maintenance Card. 5. File for Requisition from the Site. 6. Copy of Store Issue Voucher from the Store.
