Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then said I, Here am I; send me.

The Pokot tribe outreach in a village called Chepsabei is our latest effort to reach unreached tribes of Kenya with the gospel. God is blessing our efforts there with an average of five new converts per week. After what is nearing a year of evangelism and teaching, these new converts have grown in their faith in the true living God through His Son Jesus. They are also growing in their knowledge of the Word of God and are nearing that point in their faith where they are ready to follow the Lord in scriptural baptism. It has been exciting and rewarding to bring the good news of the gospel into a village that has never heard it before. As the Bible says, their eyes have been opened, they have turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. God has also called two young men from this village to preach the Word of God. Our prayer from the beginning has been that God would call Pokot preachers so these people ~Isaiah 6:8~ may have a Pokot Pastor who is from their village to shepherd them. These two young men, Thomas and Solomon are receiving intense weekly training to fulfill Gods calling on their life. Please pray for these new believers and this village which is located on the border of Uganda deep in the Kerio Valley. Special thanks to all those who given solar powered audio Bibles so they can hear the Word of God.
The Landmark Baptist Church of Mawe Tatu or better known as Three Stones and Pastor Shadrach hosted our team for village evangelism this month. There were nineteen folks that showed up to share the love of God through the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is such a blessing for Terry and me to come along side of our brethren who have a burden to reach their lost family members and neighbors. Our team of soul winning gospel preaching members is growing with each passing week. We hiked down muddy trails passing through corn fields, over creeks and hills to bring the good news of the gospel to those who have never heard. Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? There were thirteen precious souls who made professions of faith in the Lord Jesus and were added to the book of life. My team shared the gospel with a Mama and her four sons who were repairing a washout with large stones on the trail in front of their home. The Mama said she had received Christ some time ago and has been praying for her sons to be saved. God answered her prayer on that trail as each one of her sons received Christ as their Savior. The blessed part of obedience is that you never know how God is going to use you to answers other prayers until you obey. James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

We are currently in need of two more tents for the new Pokot believers of Chepsabei to meet under and the new Luo believers of a fishing village called Wichlum. Both of these groups are meeting under the trees and are in need of some type of cover. If God leads you to put a cover over the heads of these two groups of new believers the cost with twelve small benches is approximately $570.00@. Please designate tent offering to Ft. Cooper Baptist Church. Address listed below. Thank U!
