380a Cooper House, Third Avenue Trafford Park, Manchester M17 1JE 17th November 2010 30th June 2011 Working on projects for the likes of Moben, Sharps, Dolphin, Kitchens Direct and Jonhsons Dry cleaners my role was to generate designs and ideas which I would develop into strong creative concepts alongside a small creative team, including winning a 12m advertising pitch along the way. With a strong emphasis on layout, typography and colour palettes I helped create consistent and professional designs including some lovely branding, advertising, packaging, instore displays, brochures, direct mail right through to artworking stage. Other tasks included designs for online banners and tv storyboards and after showing a passion for photography I put this to use for various web and print purposes, continually showing the desire and ambition to take on new design principles and challenges.

90 DEGREES
80 mosley street, Manchester M2 3FX Temporary freelance 2010 My role within 90 Degrees was as a freelance designer for a few weeks, which seen me work on interactive pdf brochures, branding and store vinyls in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

9 Month internship
I was fortunate enough to gain a 9 month internship with an international Graphic Design and Advertising agency in Amsterdam after graduating from university. The studio experience gained taught me a lot about the design industry, including working to tight deadlines, working to meet client needs and continually working as part of an experienced team. I was lucky enough to be involved in a lot of creative projects working alongside and assisting the creative director on Advertisements, Photography shoots, Web designs, Packaging, Branding and Editorial designs.

My job was to design 16-24 page supplements to be inserted into 2 of Hollands national newspapers with a market of 1.2million readers. With great attention to detail, I was responsible for the layout, photography and overall look of the supplements including a large number of adverts/ advertorials for clients including Vodafone and Fujifilm, taking all work right through to print. Deadlines were essential at Mediaplanet and needed to be met at all costs, with long hours and pressure periods only strengthening my experience as a designer. My knowledge of Editorial design, advertising and marketing has excelled substantially through my time there.
